When your AION 2 inventory fills up, inspect each item and its restrictions, check whether it may be needed for a request or another system, and store it if you are unsure. Sell, dismantle, or destroy only after the current client confirms that action is available and you understand what you would give up.
How to decide what to do with an AION 2 item
- Read the item in your current regional client. Check its name, description, binding or other restrictions, and the actions the client displays. Items do not necessarily support every option, and available guidance does not establish a complete eligibility list.
- Check for a reason to keep it. Consider whether it is current equipment or a plausible upgrade, or whether it could matter for appearance, progression, crafting, an alternate character, or a supply request. These are cautious checks based on third-party and community advice, not an exhaustive set of official item rules.
- Store it if its use is unclear and storage is available. Treat storage as a holding choice while you learn what an item does, rather than clearing it under pressure.
- Choose an irreversible action only after checking its consequences. Before extracting or dismantling, check for requests and whether the client shows materials you can use. Before selling, confirm the sale option and restrictions. Before destroying, read the confirmation prompt and proceed only if you are comfortable losing the item.

Which items should you keep or store?
Keep items with a current or plausible use
Keep equipment you use and items that could reasonably be upgrades. For old gear, consider whether it has a role in combat, progression, appearance, crafting, or use by another character before you clear it. These categories are decision prompts, not a guarantee that every item feeds those systems.

A community guide reports that some items have a supply-request marker and advises checking requests before dismantling eligible gear. Look for request information in your current client; the tip is not evidence that every item is requested or that the interface is identical across builds.

Use storage when the answer is uncertain
If you cannot tell whether an item has future value, store it when the client permits. This avoids making a rushed sale or destruction decision, though storage availability and item eligibility should be checked in-game.
When to sell, dismantle, or destroy

Do not assume inventory behavior from another AION game
The official AION Online Auto-Hunt Guide describes an auto-sell-junk function for AION Online. It is a different title/version context and does not establish that AION 2 has the same feature. Use only controls present in your AION 2 client.
