You can view available ACT scores in MyACT and save a personal copy using your browser’s print-to-PDF option if your device offers it. ACT’s current pages confirm where to view the score report, but do not confirm that every account has a download button or that a printout counts as an official report. Check with the organization receiving it before you submit an unofficial copy.
How to save an unofficial ACT score report
-
Go to MyACT and sign in to the account associated with your test. ACT says scores are posted there when available. If you forgot your username or password, use the account-recovery links on the MyACT sign-in page.

On your account dashboard, look below the score display for View Score Details, or open the Scores tab. ACT’s 2025 guide identifies both as ways to access the report: MyACT—Understanding Your Score Report.

If you need a file and there is no download control, open your browser’s print dialog. Choose Save as PDF or an equivalent PDF destination if your browser or operating system offers one. This is a general browser workaround, not a confirmed ACT PDF-download feature; the available controls can vary by account, device, and interface.

Before sending the saved copy, ask the recipient—such as a school or scholarship organization—whether it accepts an unofficial printout. If it requires an official report, request ACT delivery through MyACT instead.
Is a printed MyACT score report official?
No. A copy you print or save from information displayed in your account is a personal, unofficial copy. It does not mean ACT has sent an official report to a college or scholarship agency. ACT treats recipient delivery as a separate request made through MyACT; check its score-sending page for current eligibility and any applicable fee.
The receiving organization sets its own rules about whether an unofficial copy is acceptable. ACT’s educator handbook also cautions that scores shown on high school transcripts may be unofficial because scores can later change or be canceled. See the ACT Test User Handbook for Educators.

When will scores appear in MyACT?
ACT says more than 97% of scores are available online within 1–4 weeks after the test date. That is ACT’s published typical window, not a deadline or guarantee for an individual result. ACT says scores are posted after the test has been received, processed, and validated, and when no irregularity affects reporting. If you took the optional writing test, reporting may wait until all scores from that test date are available. Check MyACT for your result; see ACT’s score-access page.

ACT says scores from tests taken before September 2011 are not available in MyACT; contact ACT for help accessing them. For older records or recipient reports, ACT lists separate rules, including distinctions for colleges, scholarship agencies, and high schools. Confirm current availability and any fees on ACT’s score-sending page.
