What kind of game is Abelina?
An exploration platformer rather than a management simulator
The official Steam description presents Abelina as an adventure and indie game by solo developer Gabe Askew, with Indieformer as publisher. You control Vasily in a large hand-crafted world divided into five biomes. Progress is based on movement and discovery: platform through each area, find resources, open branching routes and use conversations to understand the world and its inhabitants.
There is no combat system. Timed hits are used for gathering rather than fighting.
