For a 27-inch-class 1440p OLED gaming monitor, start by matching the exact model’s refresh rate to your PC and the games you play. Current choices include 240 Hz models and faster 280 Hz and 360 Hz options, but panel type alone does not tell you the screen finish, port selection, or warranty terms. The comparison below sticks to specifications confirmed on the linked manufacturer pages; it is not a hands-on ranking.
How to choose a 27-inch-class 1440p OLED monitor
All the models here target 2560 × 1440 gaming on a roughly 27-inch screen. The main distinctions are refresh rate, panel implementation, confirmed finish, connectivity and burn-in coverage. Prices and availability were not established consistently for these models, so check the exact regional product page and retailer listing before buying.

Choose refresh rate for your games and hardware
A 360 Hz display is aimed at buyers who prioritize very high refresh rates in competitive games and have a PC capable of delivering correspondingly high frame rates. A 280 Hz option offers a step above 240 Hz, while 240 Hz models remain high-refresh choices for players who do not need the highest rate listed here. These are selection considerations, not claims of measured performance or a guarantee that a particular game will reach a given frame rate.

WOLED and QD-OLED are different panel implementations. The ASUS XG27AQDMG is explicitly described by ASUS as glossy WOLED. The cited pages do not establish the finish for the other listed models, so check the precise product variant if matte or glossy treatment matters to your setup.

Burn-in prevention features can reduce risk, but they do not establish immunity. MSI states three-year OLED warranty coverage that includes burn-in for the cited MAG models; confirm the applicable terms in your region.

Which refresh-rate tier fits your use?
For competitive play and high-frame-rate PCs
The MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED is the listed 360 Hz option. Consider it when very high refresh is a priority and your hardware and games can make use of it. Do not confuse it with the 240 Hz E2 variant. Dell’s AW2725D offers a 280 Hz alternative.

For a glossy screen specifically, ASUS explicitly identifies the XG27AQDMG as glossy WOLED.

What the specifications do—and do not—settle
Manufacturer specifications make it possible to shortlist by resolution, refresh rate and selected features, but they do not establish which monitor looks best or performs best in a controlled comparison. A July 28, 2026 PC Gamer guide names the MSI MPG 271QRX its best 1440p OLED gaming monitor and notes its 360 Hz refresh rate; that is PC Gamer’s editorial pick, not a comparative test result established for the models in this guide: PC Gamer’s 2026 OLED gaming monitor guide.
Before ordering, verify the exact model suffix, regional ports, warranty language, price and stock on the current product page. The cited Samsung link is a US family overview rather than a specification page for one exact Odyssey OLED G6 variant.
