The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and Nothing Phone (4b) both offer large 120 Hz OLED displays, but the available specifications alone cannot establish which has the better screen, cameras, battery life or performance. The clearest verified price is Nothing’s UK listing of £299 for the 8+128 GB model, shown on its storefront on 7 October 2026; a comparable current UK price for the Galaxy S24 FE is not established here, so there is no verified price difference to calculate.

How do the displays compare?
Both are large OLED phones with a listed 120 Hz refresh rate. Nothing’s listed diagonal is 0.07 inches larger, while Samsung identifies its panel as Dynamic AMOLED 2X and Nothing as Super AMOLED. Those specifications do not show which screen has more accurate colour, higher brightness in everyday use, or better outdoor visibility. What do the processor specifications tell you?
Samsung names the Exynos 2400e for the UK S24 FE model. Nothing describes an 8-core Snapdragon CPU, but the cited product information does not name the specific Snapdragon model. That is not enough information for a reliable chip-versus-chip performance verdict. A meaningful comparison would require the exact model and comparable independent testing, neither of which is established for both phones here.
Battery capacity is not battery life
Samsung lists a typical capacity of 4,700 mAh. Nothing lists 5,200 mAh for the general Phone (4b), and identifies a 6,000 mAh version as India-only. These are market-specific manufacturer specifications. Capacity figures do not account for differences in display, software, chipset or usage, so they cannot by themselves establish which phone lasts longer between charges. No comparable endurance test is available in the cited sources.
Rank #2
- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
What the camera specifications do—and do not—show
The S24 FE’s listed rear setup has three cameras: 50 MP, 12 MP and 8 MP. Nothing emphasizes a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an ultra-wide camera whose stated field of view is 119°. This is a hardware comparison, not a picture-quality ranking: megapixel counts and camera count do not establish results in daylight, low light, video or zoom. The cited sources do not provide matched camera samples or independent head-to-head testing.

Nothing’s official UK storefront listed the Phone (4b) in 8+128 GB configuration for £299 when represented on 7 October 2026. That is a UK manufacturer-store price, not a global price or a verified marketplace listing. The Samsung source establishes specifications, not a current matching UK selling price. As a result, the available evidence does not support a verified price gap between the phones.

For a useful local comparison, check both models in the same country and compare the same storage capacity, new or used condition, seller type and date. A current listing for one phone should not be treated as directly comparable with a manufacturer-store price for the other.

These specifications help narrow the questions to verify, but they do not establish an overall winner. Before buying, weigh the features that matter to you and confirm local availability and like-for-like pricing.
Rank #4
- Choose based on display preference only after checking hands-on reviews or seeing both screens; the listed diagonal and panel names do not prove a quality difference.
- Look for independent performance tests before deciding on speed: the cited Nothing page does not name its exact Snapdragon model.
- Use comparable battery-life tests rather than capacity alone if endurance is important, and confirm which regional Phone (4b) variant is sold where you live.
- Compare real camera samples and tests if photo or video quality is a priority; the manufacturer specifications do not settle that question.
- Check current local prices for matching storage and seller conditions before deciding which offers better value.
