It adds New Game+, Photo Mode, a new 00 difficulty, and TacSim content. You do not need an IOI Account to play, but linking one is required for certain rewards. New Game+ unlocks after you finish the campaign.
What does Extended Operations add?
IO Interactive’s version 1.3.0 notes describe Extended Operations as a free DLC. The update includes:

- New Game+: Replay the campaign after completing the entire story. IO Interactive says you can start from the beginning or a completed checkpoint and use unlocked outfits and gadgets. Gadget access still follows story progression, so a gadget is unavailable until the campaign has introduced it.
- Photo Mode: Pause the action and adjust the camera, lens, image, character pose, UI visibility, and frame elements.
- 00 difficulty: The new hardest difficulty makes enemies detect Bond faster and hit harder, while gadget resources restore less.
- TacSim additions: New content includes the Valhalla Protocol, a return to The Pearl in Vietnam, and additional weapon availability. The October 1 announcement describes new TacSim missions, including an Aston Martin Valhalla sequence.
- Handling improvements and fixes: IO Interactive says it improved weapon-handling animations and delivered more than 700 fixes and improvements involving crashes, progression, visuals, audio, localization, and interface issues. The figure is the publisher’s count in its update notes.
How do you access Extended Operations?
There is no separate purchase required: the publisher calls Extended Operations free DLC. Install the version 1.3.0 update through your platform’s game update system. New Game+ is the exception to immediate access within the update: it requires a completed campaign.

New Game+ requirements
Finish the full campaign once to unlock New Game+. After that, you can replay from the start or from a completed checkpoint. Outfits and gadgets you have unlocked carry over, subject to the campaign’s gadget unlock progression.

Do you need an IOI Account, and what rewards are available?
No account is needed to play the game. IO Interactive’s player support page says an IOI Account is needed for certain rewards, rather than for access to the campaign itself.
Grey Standard outfit
Link the game to an IOI Account by November 1, 2026 to unlock the Grey Standard outfit, according to the October 1 update notes. This is a deadline-sensitive reward, so check the current official notice if you are reading this near or after that date.

Timed Twitch Drop and earlier account rewards
The update notes list the “One More” Twitch Drop for October 1, 2026 at 03:00 UTC through October 16, 2026 at 17:00 UTC. That window has ended; consult the official promotion details for any current availability. Player support also lists older account-linked rewards, including the On Duty outfit and Gilded Wraith weapon skin.
Can you play offline?
IO Interactive support says an internet connection is required once to download the Day 1 patch; after that, the full main campaign can be played offline. The publisher recommends online play for connected features such as leaderboards and challenges. Its support page does not establish that every online feature or account-linked reward works offline.

Dates reflect the publisher’s current support listing, not a guarantee of availability in every store or region; check the relevant regional listing. The PlayStation product page says the game is playable on PS5 consoles, including PS5 Pro, and is not available for PS4.

Do you need a particular edition to get the update?
No edition is identified as a requirement for Extended Operations, which IO Interactive describes as free DLC. The support page compares Standard, Specialist, Collector’s, and Legacy editions and lists their game and cosmetic or physical extras. The publisher’s announcement says the Specialist Edition is exclusive to Amazon.com and includes distinctive case packaging and the Classic Tux outfit. Edition contents, regional availability, and retail stock can vary; check the current listing before buying. These edition extras do not enable access to the free update.
