Zimyo says version 3.0 adds Zim, an AI agent embedded in its HR and payroll platform. The company describes a model in which Zim prepares a plan for an HR task and a person approves it before work proceeds. The launch materials do not establish that the product is generally available: Zimyo’s October 1 announcement calls it launched, while its homepage describes a beta and invites early customers.
What is Zimyo 3.0?
Zimyo 3.0 is the company’s HR and payroll platform with Zim, an AI agent built into the software. It is not a separate device. Zimyo frames the approach as “AI prepares; people decide”: employees or HR staff can make requests in everyday language, and Zim prepares a proposed plan for approval.

Zimyo describes itself as founded in 2018 in Gurugram and positions its product as a broad HRMS suite with global payroll support. Its homepage reported 2,500+ customers, 1M+ employees, 60+ modules, 40+ countries and average ratings of 4.5+ on global review platforms when accessed October 5, 2026. These are company-published figures, not independently verified counts or ratings.

The launch announcement gives examples across payroll, attendance, employee self-service, offboarding, performance and hiring. These are functions Zimyo says the product supports; the announcement does not provide independent performance tests or evidence of time saved or error reduction.
#1 Best Overall
- Payroll: check payroll before a run.
- Attendance: handle requests to correct missed punches.
- Employee self-service: respond to requests for payslips or leave balances.
- Offboarding: coordinate offboarding work and documents.
- Performance: draft performance reviews based on feedback.
- Recruiting: shortlist applicants.
Zimyo names Core HR, Employee Self-Service, Payroll, Performance and Recruit among the platform areas, and also mentions attendance, leave, documents, assets, helpdesk, onboarding, offboarding, expenses, OKRs, compensation and hiring. Public launch materials do not detail the implementation of each workflow or verify that every example is available to every customer.
Will Zim take action without approval?
Zimyo says Zim presents proposed actions for approval before they proceed, and that actions are logged. This is the company’s stated control model, not an independently audited description of the software. For a buyer, the practical question is whether approval is required for each action in the relevant workflow, who is authorized to approve it, and what the resulting audit log records.

What does Zimyo say about security?
Zimyo’s launch FAQ lists role-based access, single sign-on, encryption, audit logs and granular permissions. It also says users can interact in multiple languages and that deployment takes “days, not months” for most teams. These are vendor statements; the public pages reviewed do not independently audit the security claims or provide measured deployment results. Organizations evaluating the platform should confirm the controls and implementation scope that apply to their own environment.
Is Zimyo 3.0 available, and what does it cost?
Availability language differs across Zimyo’s public materials. The October 1 launch article presents version 3.0 as launched, while the homepage labels it beta and invites early customers. The pages do not establish general availability, geographic rollout, plan eligibility or a public price. Buyers should confirm those details directly with Zimyo before treating the announcement as a broadly available release.
What the announcement establishes—and what it does not
The announcement establishes Zimyo’s intended product framing: an embedded AI agent that proposes work across HR workflows, with people approving actions. It does not provide comparative evidence against other HR platforms or chatbots, independently verified customer outcomes, or benchmarks for speed, accuracy or error reduction.
The announcement republished by Business Standard is sponsored press-release material supplied by BusinessWire India; Business Standard says no journalist was involved. It should not be read as independent validation of Zimyo’s claims. In that release, Zimyo founder and CEO Kumar Mayank said: “Every generation of technology has promised to make HR easier, yet HR teams still spend most of their day on work that keeps them away from people. Zimyo 3.0 is our answer to that. With Zim AI, we want HR professionals to feel supported, not replaced. AI should carry the load so people can lead.”
