Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFor a documented screenshot action, Zapier is the most direct starting point; n8n has both an HTTP Request route and a documented AllScreenshots integration; Make’s reviewed official help documents scenario tools, not a screenshot-specific connector. That last point is an evidence boundary, not proof that Make cannot call a screenshot API. Choose based on the capture options and workflow you need, then test the actual response-to-destination handoff before relying on it.
How the screenshot routes compare
| Platform | Documented screenshot path | What to validate |
|---|---|---|
| Zapier | GetScreenshot documents actions for taking a website screenshot and capturing a page element. The result can be used in a following action. | Confirm the current action fields, plan requirements for multi-step Zaps, and that the screenshot output maps correctly into your destination app. |
| Make | The reviewed Make Tools help page describes scenario flow-control tools such as repeaters, iterators, and array aggregators; it does not document screenshot capture. | Check whether your chosen screenshot provider currently offers a Make module or whether a Make HTTP/API route handles its authentication and file output as needed. |
| n8n | n8n documents a generic GetScreenshot HTTP Request route and a separate AllScreenshots integration. | Check current integration status, credentials, service limits, and whether cloud or self-hosted n8n fits your deployment. |
These routes are not a measured performance ranking. Zapier’s documented action may suit a straightforward trigger-capture-deliver flow; n8n’s API or bulk-job options may suit workflows needing more explicit control. Make remains a candidate if you verify a working provider module or API route for your setup.

What Zapier’s documented screenshot action can do
Zapier’s GetScreenshot app catalog describes a Take Website Screenshot action for a live page, plus a separate option to capture a website element. For element capture, you need to provide the target’s CSS selector. The documented capture controls include:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →- Full-page capture and a width setting.
- Optional PDF output.
- Extra waiting for pages that take longer to load.
- Custom CSS.
- An asynchronous callback option intended to avoid timeouts.
A basic Zap has a trigger, the screenshot action, and a destination action such as storage or notification. Map the returned screenshot from GetScreenshot into the destination field that accepts the output type; verify the actual field and file handling in your connected apps. The GetScreenshot page states that a Starter plan is required for Zaps with three or more steps. Plan terms can change, so confirm them in Zapier before building a multi-step workflow.

How to build the n8n HTTP Request workflow
n8n’s GetScreenshot integration page describes using the HTTP Request node with generic authentication to call the API. This is a configurable API route, rather than simply choosing a screenshot action: the endpoint, credential method, request parameters, and response handling depend on the API you use.
- Add the workflow trigger that matches your schedule or event.
- Add an HTTP Request node and configure the screenshot provider’s endpoint and authentication. Use that provider’s documentation for the exact URL, method, and credential requirements.
- Send the page URL and required capture parameters, such as full-page or output format when supported by the provider.
- Inspect the response and route the resulting image or PDF to your storage, delivery, or notification node. Confirm whether the response is binary or a link and configure the next node accordingly.
- Run a test with a page that loads reliably, then test a slower page and the intended destination before enabling the workflow.
The integration listing establishes that the HTTP Request approach is described; it does not establish comparative ease or reliability against Zapier.

When n8n’s AllScreenshots integration fits
n8n’s AllScreenshots integration page describes synchronous capture, asynchronous jobs, bulk jobs, screenshot composition, usage tracking, and webhooks for completion or failure. It identifies the integration as partner-built and verified by n8n; check its current status and available operations in n8n before depending on it.

- Asynchronous capture: use a job and its status/result operations or documented completion webhook to continue routing after the capture finishes.
- Bulk capture: the page says a bulk job can include up to 100 URLs. Validate how the provider handles partial failures and results before using the output downstream.
- Composition and usage: the integration listing describes screenshot composition and usage tracking; check the operation details and provider terms for the exact behavior you need.
What Make’s documented tools establish—and what they do not
Make’s reviewed official Tools help describes repeaters, iterators, array aggregators, and other scenario flow-control utilities. Those tools can be relevant when a scenario processes multiple URLs, but the page does not describe screenshot capture or establish a native screenshot module.

To use Make for this job, first check the current Make app catalog for the screenshot provider you intend to call. If there is no suitable module, verify whether Make’s current HTTP/API functionality can send the provider’s required request and pass its returned image or file to your next module. Test authentication, binary/file handling, and errors with your own provider before treating the workflow as ready. The reviewed Make page alone does not verify that route.
Choose by workflow requirements
- Pick Zapier to investigate first if a ready-made screenshot action and a conventional trigger-to-destination Zap match your task. Confirm its fields, output mapping, and applicable plan terms.
- Pick n8n’s HTTP Request route if you are comfortable configuring an API endpoint and credentials, or consider its AllScreenshots integration when its listed sync, async, bulk, or webhook operations match your workflow.
- Consider Make after validation if Make is already your orchestrator or its scenario tools suit the surrounding workflow; verify the screenshot provider connection rather than assuming a documented native action.

Or skip the browser setup
If you would rather call a screenshot API than configure a browser workflow, ScreenshotNeo is the alternative to try first: it provides a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request can return a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. The API accepts screenshot parameters; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for the available options and request details.

ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie and consent banners and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and responses identify page verdict and billing status in headers. Its MCP server offers take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the reviewed Make documentation prove that Make cannot take screenshots?
No. The reviewed official page is about scenario flow-control tools and does not establish a screenshot connector; check Make’s current app catalog or API options for the provider you plan to use.
Can these workflows capture only part of a webpage?
Zapier’s GetScreenshot listing documents website-element capture using a selector. For n8n or Make, confirm the chosen provider’s current API or module supports the specific element-capture behavior you need.
