MP4 ek container hai, codec nahi. Is container mein mukhtalif video aur audio formats ho sakte hain, isliye sirf .mp4 extension dekh kar compatibility tay nahi hoti. Yeh bhi jaanchein ki file mein ek se zyada audio tracks ya subtitles hain. Convert karte waqt sahi audio track ko map karna zaroori ho sakta hai. Agar file pehle se H.264 video aur AAC audio mein hai, resolution aur frame rate bhi aapke live target se milte hain, to re-encode karne ke bajaye us file ko pehle test karna behtar hai.
YouTube Live ke liye seedhi compatibility settings
Is guide ka aam RTMP/RTMPS workflow H.264 video aur AAC audio par focus karta hai. YouTube ki live encoder settings AAC ya MP3 audio batati hain; 5.1 audio ke liye RTMP/RTMPS par AAC zaroori hai. YouTube protocol comparison mein RTMP aur RTMPS ke liye H.264 listed hai. YouTube ki setting list mein H.265/HEVC aur AV1 ka zikr bhi hai, lekin simple, broad-compatibility example H.264 hi rakhta hai.
YouTube RTMPS ko recommend karta hai: yeh RTMP ka encrypted extension hai. Live bhejne ke liye RTMPS URL aur stream key YouTube se lein; stream key ko public post, screenshot ya command example mein kabhi share na karein. Resolution aur frame rate ke mutabiq bitrate chunein
YouTube ki current H.264 live encoder settings mein kuch aam bitrate figures yeh hain. Yeh YouTube ki recommendations hain, har source ke liye guaranteed quality nahi. Motion, resolution, frame rate aur aapke upload connection ki capacity ke mutabiq faisla karein.

Yeh numbers YouTube Help ki current live encoder settings par mabni hain, jo 2026 mein access ki gayi. Agar aapka internet connection is bitrate ko lagataar upload nahi kar sakta, kam resolution ya frame rate chunein.
Encoding mein dhyan rakhne wali doosri settings
- YouTube CBR encoding recommend karta hai.
- Keyframe interval 2 seconds rakhein; 4 seconds se zyada na ho.
- Progressive scan, square pixels aur SDR ke liye Rec. 709 use karein.
- YouTube ki listed maximum frame rate 60 fps hai.
- Stereo audio ke liye listed setting 44.1 kHz aur 128 kbps hai; 5.1 audio ke liye 48 kHz aur 384 kbps hai.
Yeh YouTube ki official recommendations hain, har input ke liye FFmpeg ki tested prescription nahi. Agar source mein interlaced video, unusual frame rate ya multiple audio streams hain, command ko us source ke mutabiq adjust karein.

FFmpeg se H.264 video aur AAC audio mein convert karein
Neeche wali command ek template hai: yeh pehli video aur pehli audio stream map karti hai aur output ko 1080p, 30 fps ke liye set karti hai. Apne source, desired output aur upload capacity ke mutabiq resolution, frame rate aur bitrate badlein. Agar source mein audio track nahi hai, -map 0:a:0 hata kar command ko adjust karna hoga.

Agar FFmpeg kahe ki encoder available nahi, apni build mein libx264 support wali installation chahiye. Command ko apni file par chalane se pehle uske audio tracks aur frame rate inspect karein; ise har MP4 ke liye verified one-size-fits-all command na samjhein.

Quality badle bina compatible container mein remux karna
Agar video H.264 aur audio AAC pehle se hain aur sirf container ko dobara likhna hai, to yeh no-re-encode template try karein:
ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -map 0:v:0 -map 0:a:0 -c copy -movflags +faststart remuxed.mp4-c copy streams ko encode nahi karta, isliye yeh codec conversion nahi hai. Agar source codecs ya stream settings live workflow se compatible nahi, yeh command unhe theek nahi karegi. Multiple tracks hon to mapping apne zaroori tracks ke mutabiq badlein.

RTMP/RTMPS, HLS aur DASH ko alag workflows samjhein
YouTube ke ingestion protocol comparison mein RTMP/RTMPS ke liye H.264, HLS ke liye H.264 aur HEVC, aur DASH ke liye H.264 aur VP9 listed hain. RTMPS, HLS aur DASH encrypted hain; comparison table mein RTMP encrypted nahi dikhaya gaya. RTMP/RTMPS standard live encoder workflow hai, jabki segment-based HLS aur DASH aam taur par zyada latency rakhte hain.
DASH ko ek RTMP URL par bhejne wali command ka doosra naam na samjhein. YouTube ka DASH encoding guide MPD, initialization aur media segments, alag PUT requests aur segment timing requirements wala workflow batata hai. DASH guide MP4 ke andar H.264 aur AAC ko support karta hai, lekin uska delivery tareeqa RTMP se mukhtalif hai. YouTube ke mutabiq ek broadcast mein RTMP aur DASH ingestion mix nahi ki ja sakti.
Convert ki hui file ko verify karke live bhejein
- Output dobara inspect karein:
ffprobe -hide_banner -i output.mp4chala kar video/audio codecs, resolution, frame rate aur audio sample rate dekhein. - YouTube Live setup karein: YouTube Live Control Room mein broadcast banayein aur uske liye dikhaya gaya RTMPS ingestion URL aur stream key apne encoder mein enter karein. Key ko private rakhein.
- Live preview aur health dekhein: stream start karne ke baad Control Room ka status aur stream health check karein. YouTube Live API ke LiveStreams documentation mein
videoCodec,audioCodec,audioSampleRateaur low-bitrate ya starvation jaise status issues document hain. - Stream ko public karne se pehle verify karein: audio, image, aspect ratio aur playback dekh kar hi broadcast ko audience ke liye shuru karein.
Aam problems aur unke hal
- File .mp4 hai, lekin YouTube compatible nahi batata: container extension codec nahi batata.
ffprobese streams dekhein; zaroorat ho to H.264/AAC mein encode karein. - Output mein audio nahi: source mein audio stream ho bhi sakti hai ya nahi.
ffprobese jaanchein; sahi track map karein, ya audio na ho to audio mapping aur encoding options hata dein. - Aspect ratio galat ya image stretched hai: command mein apne target resolution ka istemal karein aur scaling ko aspect ratio preserve karne dein. Upar ka example padding se 16:9 frame banata hai; mukhtalif frame shape chahiye to filter adjust karein.
- Stream health low bitrate ya starvation dikhati hai: bitrate aapke connection se zyada ho sakti hai, ya upload lagataar nahi pahunch raha. Resolution, frame rate ya bitrate kam karein aur connection ki stability jaanchein.
- Keyframe warning aati hai: 2-second keyframe interval rakhein aur 4 seconds se zyada na hone dein. 30 fps example mein GOP size 60 frames hai; doosre frame rate ke liye GOP ko dobara hisaab karein.

libx264encoder nahi dhoondhta: installed build mein us encoder ka hona zaroori hai. Apni FFmpeg build aur available encoders jaanchein; command ke encoder naam ko andaze se badalne ke bajaye supported build istemal karein. - Video chalti hai magar content par claim ya restriction aa sakti hai: format conversion se video ke haqooq nahi milte. Sirf woh recording stream karein jiske liye aapke paas zaroori rights ya permission ho; YouTube ke copyright aur reused-content rules alag se lagu hote hain.
