Camera setup: telephoto against ultra-wide
The two phones point their cameras in different directions. The Redmi’s published setup pairs a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, which suits group shots, landscapes and tight indoor spaces. The Reno16c’s headline feature is its 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, which is the more useful choice if you often photograph distant subjects without cropping. OPPO’s own comparison material also lists a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide, so the difference is the telephoto rather than the absence of a wide option.

Battery and charging
Xiaomi’s Peru page lists a 9,210mAh typical battery with up to 100W charging. OPPO’s India page lists a 7,000mAh typical battery, rated at 6,850mAh, with 80W SUPERVOOC flash charge. On typical figures the Redmi’s battery is about 2,210mAh larger. Typical capacity is the figure manufacturers quote, and the rated figure is the lower, more conservative number.
