Display: 6.99-inch AMOLED with up to 120Hz
Xiaomi describes the screen as a 6.99-inch FHD+ eye-care AMOLED display. The Spain specification page gives its resolution as 2396 × 1080 pixels, with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and touch sampling up to 240Hz. A higher refresh rate can make supported interface animations and scrolling appear smoother; it does not mean every app or activity runs at 120 frames per second.

The peak figure is not the same as typical screen brightness, and Xiaomi’s listed values are not independent measurements.

Processor, memory and storage
Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2
The phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 platform. Xiaomi Spain lists a 6nm manufacturing process, an octa-core CPU with speeds up to 2.9GHz and an Adreno GPU. The “4G” in the platform name matches Xiaomi’s listed 4G/3G/2G connectivity: this specification does not describe a 5G model.
Regional configurations and microSD
Xiaomi Spain lists two configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 256GB storage. The listed memory type is LPDDR4X and the storage type is UFS 2.2. That page also lists microSD expansion up to 2TB, but Xiaomi notes card support can vary. The SIM tray is hybrid, so the precise SIM-and-card arrangement matters if you plan to use both dual SIM and expandable storage.

Available configurations are regional, and the usable memory and storage will be lower than the stated totals because system software and other files occupy space.
Cameras and video recording
The Spain specifications list a 50MP rear main camera with an f/1.8 lens and a 16MP front camera with an f/2.5 lens. Both are listed as recording video at 1080p or 720p at 30 frames per second. These figures describe listed resolution and frame rate; they do not establish image quality in real-world conditions.

Battery and 45W charging
Xiaomi lists a 7,700mAh typical battery and 45W turbo charging. The word “typical” is Xiaomi’s battery-capacity qualifier; it is not a guarantee of a particular screen-on time. Xiaomi’s global page advertises “Beyond 2-day battery life” and “Up to 2.62 days of usage,” but those are manufacturer claims rather than independently verified runtime results.
Xiaomi Spain says the power adapter is not included in the package listing. It recommends a Xiaomi adapter rated at 45W or higher, or a 45W PD-compatible adapter. The listed charging wattage alone does not establish how long a full charge takes.

Connectivity and supported LTE bands
Xiaomi Spain lists 4G, 3G and 2G mobile connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and Bluetooth 5.0. The LTE bands on that regional page are:

- FDD-LTE: bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 28.
- TDD-LTE: bands 38, 40 and 41.
Band lists and network support can differ by market. Before buying, compare the exact local model with the LTE bands used by your carrier; a phone’s 4G label alone does not guarantee compatibility with every carrier or coverage area. Xiaomi also notes that NFC availability may vary by market.

Size, durability and software
Xiaomi Spain gives dimensions of 169.70 × 79.14 × 8.45mm and a weight of 224g. Xiaomi says its measurements come from internal laboratory testing and may vary. Xiaomi Global lists IP65 dust and water resistance and Gorilla Glass 7i; these are manufacturer-listed protection specifications, not evidence of independent testing or a reason to treat the phone as waterproof.
The global product page lists HyperOS and advertises six years of security updates. That is Xiaomi’s stated update policy; the page does not independently confirm update delivery or specify a schedule for every market variant.
What is included in the Spain package?
Xiaomi Spain’s package listing says the power adapter is not included and lists a protective case. Box contents can vary by region, so check the package description for the exact market and seller before purchase.

What to check before buying
- Confirm the handset is the REDMI Note 17 4G and check the exact model’s carrier-band support for your country.
- Verify which RAM and storage configuration is sold locally; the 4GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB options are listed for Spain, not guaranteed worldwide.
- Check whether NFC is available on the local version and whether the hybrid slot suits your SIM and microSD needs.
- Confirm whether a charging adapter is included and whether your existing adapter supports Xiaomi’s stated charging requirements.
