The listed chipsets put the Note 15 Pro+ 5G ahead for performance in 91mobiles’ comparison: it pairs a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with the Note 17 5G’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. 91mobiles also reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 3,272 for the Note 15 Pro Plus and 2,333 for the Note 17 5G. Those are source-reported figures, not results independently tested here; the comparison does not establish the conditions used to produce them. Display: Note 17 5G is larger
The Note 17 5G’s listed 6.99-inch display is larger than the Note 15 Pro+ 5G’s 6.83-inch panel. Xiaomi describes the Note 17 panel as FHD+ AMOLED with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz; the 91mobiles comparison lists the Note 15 Pro+ at 120 Hz. A larger screen can suit reading or video, but screen size alone does not establish which display looks sharper or better.

Camera: more megapixels on the Note 15 Pro+ main camera
The comparison lists a 200 MP main camera and 8 MP ultra-wide camera for the Note 15 Pro+ 5G. Xiaomi’s official Note 17 5G specifications list a 50 MP main camera, while 91mobiles reports a 2 MP secondary camera. The higher main-camera megapixel count is a specification advantage on paper, not proof of better photos; these figures do not establish image quality across lighting conditions or camera modes.

Xiaomi Chile lists a typical 7,700 mAh battery and 45 W charging for the Note 17 5G. The 91mobiles comparison lists 6,500 mAh and 100 W for the Note 15 Pro+ 5G. The Note 17 has the larger stated capacity, while the Note 15 Pro+ has the higher stated charging rate in that comparison. Capacity and wattage alone do not establish real-world battery life or charging time, and regional versions may differ.
