In the India listings captured by 91mobiles, the Redmi was shown at ₹39,999 and the Reno16c at ₹49,999—a ₹10,000 difference. Those are time-sensitive listing prices, not universal prices, and the OPPO battery and charging figures conflict across 91mobiles pages.
Price difference: the listed gap is ₹10,000
91mobiles’ comparison page displayed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus at ₹39,999 and the OPPO Reno16c 5G at ₹49,999 for India. That is a ₹10,000 gap in the listings captured, not a guaranteed current price or a like-for-like comparison across every memory configuration. Prices, stock and variants can change; check the exact RAM and storage option before comparing retailers. 91mobiles’ comparison listing shows the figures. Its separate Reno16c page lists other configurations at ₹57,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹62,999 for 12GB+256GB, illustrating why one displayed price should not be treated as the price of every Reno16c.

The two phones’ figures come from different kinds of sources: Xiaomi’s official product pages for the Redmi, and 91mobiles’ listings for the Reno16c. Treat third-party specifications as reported listings rather than manufacturer confirmation. Xiaomi also cautions that availability and features may vary by market.

The Redmi has the larger and higher-resolution listed panel: Xiaomi specifies a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display at 2772 × 1280, with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. 91mobiles lists the Reno16c with a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel at 1080 × 2372 and 120Hz. Both are listed at 120Hz, but the Redmi’s extra size and resolution are the meaningful distinctions if you prioritize screen space or sharper detail.

Which camera setup suits you?
Redmi: high-resolution main camera
Xiaomi lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP front camera. The headline main-camera resolution is much higher than the Reno16c’s listed 50MP main camera, but megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. Comparable image samples or controlled testing would be needed to judge overall image quality.
Reno16c: a dedicated telephoto camera
91mobiles lists a 50MP main camera, a separate 50MP telephoto camera with up to 3.5× optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP selfie camera. The telephoto camera gives the Reno16c a distinct listed camera role that the Redmi’s cited rear-camera specification does not show. Its 50MP selfie resolution also exceeds the Redmi’s listed 32MP figure, but that does not by itself prove better selfie results.

Which phone charges faster, and what is known about battery life?
Xiaomi specifies a 6,500mAh battery and 100W HyperCharge for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. Xiaomi India gives an approximate 40-minute full-charge time, which is a manufacturer claim rather than an independent test result. The 91mobiles Reno16c comparison lists 45W charging and a 6,500mAh battery, but its product page’s review summary instead says 80W and 7,000mAh. With that internal conflict and no official OPPO SKU specification established here, the Reno16c figures are unresolved; do not rely on them to declare a charging or battery-life winner.

Regional packaging also matters. Xiaomi Germany says its listed package includes a protective case and USB-C cable but not a power adapter, and recommends a 100W PD-capable charger or its official 120W adapter. Those are Germany-specific package details, not confirmation of what is in the Indian box. Check the local listing and included accessories before assuming either phone comes with a charger.

What should you verify before buying?
- Exact market and variant: Confirm the country, RAM and storage configuration behind the price. Do not compare an entry configuration with a higher-capacity one as if they were the same deal.
- Current price and stock: The ₹39,999 and ₹49,999 figures are India listings captured on 91mobiles, not fixed prices.
- Reno16c battery and charging: The cited 91mobiles pages disagree. Seek an official specification for the exact local SKU before using either set of figures.
- Box contents: Confirm the regional package contents, especially whether a power adapter is included.
- Network and service details: Verify local band support, warranty and service terms for the exact SKU; the cited specifications do not establish those details.
Which one should you choose?
Choose the Redmi if your priorities are
- A larger, higher-resolution display.
- A 200MP OIS main camera specification.
- A manufacturer-listed 100W wired-charging rate.
- The lower of the two displayed India comparison prices, if the same configuration and current availability suit you.
Consider the Reno16c if your priorities are
- A separate telephoto camera with up to 3.5× optical zoom, as listed by 91mobiles.
- A 50MP front-camera specification.
- A specific Reno16c configuration or current offer that makes sense after checking the exact listing.
There is no evidence here for an unconditional overall winner: the Redmi’s supported advantages are clearer, while the Reno16c’s battery and charging claims need confirmation and camera quality cannot be decided from megapixels alone.
