The REDMI Turbo 5 has the stronger paper specifications for buyers focused on a newer chipset and larger battery, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G offers a larger display, a higher-resolution main camera and faster listed wired charging. Xiaomi’s published specifications do not establish which phone is faster or lasts longer in real-world use. There is no meaningful direct price difference to calculate from the listings cited: they are for different countries, currencies and configurations.

Which phone has the better performance and battery specifications?
Chipset
The Turbo 5’s India-listed Dimensity 8500 Ultra has a higher stated maximum clock speed than the Note 13 Pro+ 5G’s Dimensity 7200-Ultra. That makes the Turbo 5 the more promising option on paper for buyers prioritizing a newer performance platform. Clock speed and chipset names alone do not show how the phones compare in gaming, sustained workloads, heat or everyday responsiveness; the cited Xiaomi pages do not provide comparative benchmark results.

Battery capacity and charging
Xiaomi lists a 7540mAh battery for the Turbo 5 India model and a typical 5000mAh battery for the Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The Turbo 5 therefore has the larger stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts between charges. Screen use, software, network conditions and other factors affect endurance, and no comparative battery test is established here.
The Note 13 Pro+ 5G lists 120W wired charging, compared with 100W for the Turbo 5. The Turbo 5’s India specifications also list 27W wired reverse charging. These charging figures do not indicate charging time under real use, and charging speed is separate from battery capacity.
Which display and camera suit you better?
Display
The Note 13 Pro+ 5G has the larger screen at 6.67 inches, versus 6.59 inches for the Turbo 5. Both are listed with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi claims peak brightness up to 3500 nits for the Turbo 5 India model, compared with 1800 nits for the Note 13 Pro+ 5G on Xiaomi UK’s specifications page. Peak-brightness figures are manufacturer claims and do not by themselves establish overall display quality or typical brightness.

The Note 13 Pro+ 5G lists a 200MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. The Turbo 5 lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, plus a 20MP front camera compared with the Note’s 16MP front camera.
The Note’s higher main-camera megapixel count does not prove it takes better photos. Sensor processing, lens quality and shooting conditions matter, and the cited specifications do not provide comparative photo or video tests. Choose based on camera samples and reviews for the exact regional models if image quality is a deciding factor.

Durability and regional model checks
Xiaomi advertises an IP68 rating for the Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Its India page lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the Turbo 5. Treat these as the manufacturer’s listed ratings for the cited models; confirm the rating and terms for the exact version sold in your country.
The Turbo 5 specifications and price cited here are from Xiaomi India, so buyers elsewhere should verify whether the model is officially sold in their market, along with network-band compatibility, warranty coverage and seller legitimacy. Xiaomi notes that Note 13 Pro+ 5G configurations and package contents may vary by region; 5G availability also depends on regional support and the operator.
Price difference: why these listings cannot be directly compared
Xiaomi UK displayed the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G at £449 on its purchase page when accessed in 2026. Xiaomi India Store listed the REDMI Turbo 5 at ₹41,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration when accessed in 2026. These are listings from different markets, in different currencies, and the Turbo price is tied to a specific configuration. They do not establish a direct price gap; prices and stock can change.
For a useful comparison, check the current delivered prices in the same country for equivalent RAM and storage. Confirm whether each figure is an official listing, sale price or retailer offer, and account for local taxes, warranty and seller terms. Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the REDMI Turbo 5 if the India-listed chipset and larger battery are your priorities, and you can confirm official local availability, compatible bands and warranty. Xiaomi’s specifications make it appealing on paper, but do not prove superior real-world speed or battery life.
- Choose the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G if you prefer a slightly larger display, a 200MP OIS main-camera specification or the higher listed wired-charging wattage.
- Compare local prices before deciding. The cited UK and India prices cannot be treated as a like-for-like comparison; compare equivalent configurations within your market.
