Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteTo change your Comcast Business WiFi password, start in Comcast Business My Account or the Comcast Business App and look for WiFi settings. For a supported Business Wireless Gateway, you can also connect to the business network and open http://10.1.10.1 in a browser. The right route depends on your account access and gateway model.
Change the password in My Account or the Comcast Business App
- Sign in to Comcast Business My Account or open the Comcast Business App.
- Open the WiFi settings for your Business Internet service.
- Change the WiFi network password and save the setting.
Comcast says Business Internet customers can customize WiFi settings in the app, and My Account can manage WiFi settings. The exact menu labels may differ by account. This changes the password devices use to join the WiFi network—not your Comcast account password or the gateway administrator password.

Use the Business Wireless Gateway’s browser settings
Comcast Business documents a gateway route for a Business Wireless Gateway. Its community guidance was posted on December 14, 2022, so treat the address and login details as specific to the equipment covered there rather than universal instructions for every current Business router.
- Connect a computer or other device to the business network, by WiFi or Ethernet.
- Open a browser and go to
http://10.1.10.1. - Sign in to the gateway with its administrator credentials.
- Find the WiFi network password setting, enter a new password, and save it. The cited instructions do not establish exact menu names; do not assume a particular screen label.
The cited guidance identifies cusadmin as the username and lists highspeed and CantTouchThis as historical default password examples. These are older, equipment-specific examples—not guaranteed current credentials. Check the gateway label and the documentation for your model if they do not work. The same guidance says the label shows the network names and a case-sensitive network key; the cited gateway had separate 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz networks, but other equipment may differ. See Comcast Business’s Business Wireless Gateway password guidance.

Choose the route that fits your setup
| Route | Use it when | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| My Account or Comcast Business App | You can access WiFi settings for the Business Internet account. | A sign-in with permission to manage the service; available labels may vary. |
| Gateway browser settings | You have the Business Wireless Gateway covered by the documented procedure. | A device connected to the business network and valid gateway administrator credentials. |
If you cannot find the WiFi setting
- Confirm that your signed-in account can administer Business WiFi settings. Comcast confirms the feature, but its public account page does not spell out every account role or permission.
- Check the label on your equipment and identify the gateway or router model before trying a gateway address or credentials.
- If the portal or app does not show WiFi controls, use Comcast Business’s guidance for setting up and managing WiFi on a Business Wireless Gateway, or contact Business support with your model information.
- Do not factory-reset the gateway just because a menu is missing. A reset can disrupt configuration, and there is no single reset procedure established here for all Business equipment.
Reconnect devices after the change
Devices that still have the old password saved may no longer join the network. Update the saved WiFi password on those devices and reconnect them. The exact reconnection behavior can vary by equipment and device.

Comcast Business and residential Xfinity use different account guidance and may use different gateway addresses. The residential Xfinity app’s WiFi editing path and its Admin Tool instructions are for residential services, not confirmed Comcast Business account steps. In particular, do not substitute the residential gateway address 10.0.0.1 for the Business Wireless Gateway address documented above.

For context, residential instructions describe an app path through WiFi, WiFi details, Edit WiFi settings, and Save, with access limited to certain residential Xfinity ID roles. Residential Admin Tool availability also varies by gateway. Those details do not establish the equivalent menus or eligibility for a Business account. See the residential Xfinity app instructions and residential Xfinity Gateway Admin Tool instructions only if you have residential service.
