Use objectives for additional unlocks
WWE’s launch announcement says game objectives can unlock Superstars, in-game currency, and cosmetic items without an additional purchase. It also says currency can be earned or paid for. This is a general description, not a guarantee that each item has the same unlock condition or can be obtained through one specific route.
Develop a created Superstar in Battleground Challenge
Battleground Challenge centers on a custom Superstar. Competing through challenges awards skill points to build abilities and can earn cosmetic items. The official descriptions do not identify a fastest challenge order or a repeatable farming method, so choose challenges based on the progression you want rather than relying on an unsupported shortcut.

Choose a class and use power-ups
2K identifies five class styles: Powerhouse, Technician, High-Flyer, Brawler, and All-Rounder. Their moves, strengths, and weaknesses differ, but the official material does not provide a detailed matchup chart. Check the selected Superstar’s class and move set in game before settling on a character.

What launch editions and platform details are documented?
WWE’s 2020 announcement described Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Digital Deluxe launch package included Edge, all versions of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Ronda Rousey, and 1,100 bonus Golden Bucks. The announcement also said the characters and items could be unlocked through game objectives. This is historical launch-edition information, not confirmation that either edition or its bonuses are currently sold or available in every region.

At launch, WWE listed PlayStation 4, the Xbox One family, Windows PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. The announcement described cross-platform play among Xbox One, Steam PC, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia at that time. It does not establish current store availability, live servers, matchmaking, or cross-play operation.

Other launch figures are historical, not current live-service counts: WWE said the game had more than 70 Superstars, Hall of Famers, and Legends at launch, and announced more than 60 additional Superstars for future free downloadable updates. That announcement is not confirmation that every planned update was delivered. It also listed eight unique Battleground environments.
