Can you play Wordle in person?
Yes. Hasbro and New York Times Games announced Wordle: The Party Game in July 2022 as a physical group adaptation. Its rulebook describes a host who sets a secret word, group scoring, dry-erase boards and shields, plus team and timed variants. It is a distinct party game, not a physical version of Quordle. Who owns Wordle and Quordle?
They have different owners. Hasbro says The New York Times Company acquired Wordle in early 2022. Merriam-Webster acquired Quordle in 2023, as reported by Global News and TechCrunch. These ownership facts do not, by themselves, establish current access terms for either digital game.
