In the US, WNBA League Pass is best for out-of-market games and replays, but local and national broadcast blackouts mean it does not show every game live. Start with the game and your ZIP code: check the official WNBA schedule for its listed outlet, then use the league’s blackout guidance to see whether League Pass carries it live or only later on demand.
How can I watch WNBA games?
There is no single US subscription that is established to carry every WNBA game. A matchup may be on a national network or streaming outlet, on a local or regional outlet, or available live through League Pass outside blackout restrictions. The right choice depends on the game, your market, and the platform carrying it.

What League Pass includes—and what it does not
League Pass is a season-oriented service with live and on-demand viewing, but live access is subject to rights and location. The WNBA lists full-game replays, classic games, enhanced controls, up to three simultaneous devices, and selected Spanish-language feeds. Why aren’t games being televised?
Not every matchup is assigned a national broadcast. The WNBA FAQ says: “Not all games are intended to be nationally televised (similar to other sports with a number of games at or above that of the WNBA).” A game may instead be distributed locally or through another scheduled outlet. Check the official schedule rather than assuming that an unlisted national broadcast means a game is unavailable.
National and local distribution can also affect whether the game appears live on League Pass. The WNBA’s blackout guidance names outlets including ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Disney+, CBS, Paramount+, NBC, Peacock, USA Network, and Prime Video; the applicable distributor varies by game, and the list may change. The schedule is the best starting point for a particular matchup.

How blackouts work in the US, Canada, and elsewhere
United States
US League Pass is subject to local and national blackouts. Nationally televised games named in the WNBA’s guidance are not available live through League Pass; their replay becomes available at 6 a.m. ET the next day. Locally televised games become available shortly after the game ends. The ZIP-code check helps identify local restrictions.
Canada
The WNBA says games carried on TSN, SN, CTV, and CTV2 are blacked out live on League Pass in Canada and become available afterward. The listed Canadian outlets and distribution rules are subject to change.

Other countries
The WNBA says games are available live on League Pass in available countries except the US and Canada, where the described local and national restrictions apply. League Pass is not available everywhere; the league lists exclusions including Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and specified Ukrainian regions. Check the current blackout and availability guidance for your country.
