WNBA League Pass is a $39.99-per-year U.S. option for live out-of-market games, replays, and archive games—not a way to watch every game live. Local games and many national broadcasts are blacked out live, so the best choice depends on the exact team and games you want. In 2026, those national broadcasts are distributed across ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock/NBCSN, Prime Video, CBS/Paramount+, ION, USA Network, and NBA TV.
What WNBA League Pass includes
The WNBA’s League Pass product page lists an annual plan at $39.99 per year. It includes live games and on-demand access to every game, full-length replays, hundreds of archived games, live stats, rewind, select alternate and Spanish-language ESPN Deportes feeds, streaming on three devices, and an NBA TV subscription for the season described on the product page. Features and availability can vary by country.

The WNBA says subscriptions are available on annual or monthly recurring terms, but the reviewed purchase page does not state a monthly price. Annual subscriptions renew on the purchase anniversary; monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days. Both renew unless canceled, and the league says subscribers will be notified before renewal charges. See the League Pass help page for current plan and billing details.

What League Pass does not show live
In the United States, League Pass blacks out local broadcasts of a viewer’s local team and games shown nationally by the league’s listed distributors. Blackouts depend on location: the WNBA uses a ZIP code to determine which local teams are covered. The league’s blackout guidance names ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Disney+, CBS, Paramount+, NBC, Peacock, USA Network, and Amazon Prime Video among U.S. national blackout services. Distributor lists can change, so check the current schedule and ZIP-code lookup rather than relying on a static list.
For a U.S. national broadcast blackout, the game becomes available on League Pass on demand the following day at 6 a.m. ET. A local blackout ends shortly after the game ends. The All-Star Friday Night event, All-Star Game, and Commissioner’s Cup championship are not available live on League Pass in the U.S. or Canada; they become available on demand after the event concludes.

Canadian blackout rules differ from U.S. rules. The league names TSN, SN, CTV, and CTV2 as examples of Canadian national broadcasters, and says Canadian viewers can watch nationally blacked-out games through those providers. Do not use the U.S. blackout list to infer availability in Canada or another country.

The WNBA’s April 22, 2026 schedule announcement sets out 330 regular-season games, with 15 teams playing 44 games each. Of those, 216 are scheduled across national partners. The table summarizes the league’s announced distribution; it describes the 2026 regular-season slate, not a guarantee that any one service carries every matchup.

| Broadcaster or service | 2026 games or role stated by the WNBA | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| ABC / ESPN | 30 games on Disney networks: 17 on ESPN and 13 on ABC. | Check the individual game listing and your access to the named channel or service. |
| NBC / Peacock / NBCSN | Seven games on NBC; 15 on Peacock/NBCSN. | Confirm whether a game is on NBC, Peacock, or NBCSN in the schedule. |
| Prime Video | 30 regular-season games, plus the Commissioner’s Cup championship. | Check the specific game listing. Prime Video Channels is the exclusive third-party digital distribution destination for League Pass in the U.S. and select international markets, according to the league. |
| CBS / Paramount+ | 20 broadcasts. | Confirm the game’s listed broadcaster and the viewing option available to you. |
| ION | 50 games. | Check whether ION is available through your TV provider or viewing setup. |
| USA Network | 48 games. | Use the schedule to identify games airing on USA Network. |
| NBA TV | 15 games. | Confirm access to NBA TV and the game listing; League Pass’s product page advertises an included NBA TV subscription for the season it describes. |
| Peacock and Finals broadcasts | Peacock streams every Finals game; each also airs on NBC or USA Network. | Check the schedule for the platform and linear broadcast attached to each Finals game. |
These counts and partner details come from the WNBA’s 2026 regular-season schedule announcement. They show why “one streaming service for every game” is not a safe assumption: national coverage is spread across multiple partners, and local distribution can also matter. A game unavailable live on League Pass may be carried by a local broadcast station, regional sports network, or national distributor.

You follow an out-of-market team
League Pass is a strong starting point for live out-of-market games and for catching replays or exploring older games. Before subscribing, check whether the team’s games are nationally televised or otherwise subject to a blackout where you live.

You want to watch your local team live
Start with the WNBA’s ZIP-code lookup and the local team’s game listings. Local games can be blacked out live on League Pass, so verify which local station or regional sports network carries the matchup before paying for the season.

You want particular national games
Look up each desired matchup on the current schedule and note its broadcaster or streaming service. A League Pass replay may not appear until 6 a.m. ET the next day for U.S. national blackouts, so it is not a substitute for live access when timing matters.
You want every game live
Do not assume League Pass or any single listed partner covers the full schedule live. Check the individual listings across national partners and local distributors for your location. Rights and blackout rules vary by market and can change.
Check availability before you pay
- Open the WNBA schedule and find the specific games you want to watch.
- Note the broadcaster or service listed for each game, including any local station or regional sports network.
- On the League Pass page, enter your ZIP code to see applicable local blackouts; review national blackout guidance as well.
- Compare the live availability you need with League Pass’s replay timing, supported devices, and annual or monthly renewal terms.
- Confirm that the required app, channel, or service is available in your country and on your device before subscribing.
For U.S. viewers, the League Pass page is the place to check its current price and ZIP-code availability; the WNBA schedule is the better guide to where an individual game is carried. Availability outside the U.S. differs, so use the local listing and market-specific terms.
