Separately, W3Techs measured Wix on 4.2% of all websites in its October 7, 2026 snapshot. These figures describe different things: registered accounts, company revenue and detected website technology usage.
How many users does Wix have in 2026?
Wix’s 2025 annual report says the company had approximately 304.2 million registered users worldwide at December 31, 2025. Wix defines this as people who began the website-building process. Wix’s company overview also says it has more than 300 million users in 2026, but that rounded milestone is less precise about the metric and reference date. For a dated figure, the annual-report count is the clearer measure. Wix company overview.
How much revenue does Wix make?
Wix reported $563.1 million in recognized revenue for Q2 2026, up 15% year over year. The company reported $1.963 billion in total ARR at the end of the quarter, also up 15% year over year. Transaction revenue is part of Business Solutions revenue, so it should not be added to the two segment totals as if it were a separate segment. The Q2 results also include management’s view that Wix’s strategy could position it to capture value as the market evolves; that is a strategic belief, not an independent market-share assessment or guaranteed outcome. What is Wix’s market share?
“Market share” depends on what is being counted. In its October 7, 2026 snapshot, W3Techs measured Wix on 4.2% of all websites and reported a 6.1% share among websites for which a CMS was known. The first percentage uses all surveyed websites as its denominator; the second uses only the subset with a known content management system. W3Techs Wix usage statistics.
These are technology-usage measures, not Wix’s share of website-builder revenue, customers, new site creation, or active live websites. W3Techs detects technologies on websites within its survey scope; Wix’s registered-user count, by contrast, counts accounts as reported by the company. The two measures therefore cannot be compared directly.

What Wix figures are not established?
The cited company disclosures and website-usage snapshot do not establish Wix’s number of active users, paying subscribers, total live Wix sites, or revenue-based share of the website-builder market. Do not infer those numbers from registered users or W3Techs’ percentages. A commercial market-share comparison would require a defined market and a consistent denominator that these figures do not provide.
