Patch 5.00b is a narrow follow-up, not a description of everything changed in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered. In its September 29, 2026 announcement, CD PROJEKT RED described Remastered as a free upgrade for eligible existing owners, with upgrade pathways for GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The publisher separately said the game is available to purchase on Battle.net and Microsoft Store as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. See the Remastered release announcement.
