Before you rely on these figures
- Confirm the current price and configuration on the manufacturer’s or retailer’s page.
- Check whether October 16 is still the shipping or availability date.
- Treat “starting at” prices as base configurations, not the price of the model you want.
What “Fat-Washed” means in the title
The title comes from the show’s closing “brown liquor pick” discussion. Thurrott says he came across a bourbon described as fat-washed and describes the mouthfeel and taste he associated with it. The segment is a personal drink recommendation, not a technology topic.
The bottle on the show is not the fat-washed one
Thurrott clarifies that the bottle he found and showed during the segment was regular 1792 Small Batch, not the fat-washed version. He says he tried to find the fat-washed bottle locally and could not. The regular 1792 Small Batch should not be described as fat-washed.
