Will WARDOGS Season 2 Pay Players to Join Blue Team? What’s Confirmed

Bulkhead has acknowledged Blue Team’s balance problem, but its Season 02 announcement does not promise payment to players who join Blue.

No official announcement examined confirms that WARDOGS Season 02 will pay players to join Blue Team. Bulkhead’s teaser sets the season’s launch date for October 15, 2026, and its announcement describes planned new map conditions, equipment, balance reworks and other features—but does not mention a payment incentive or specify Blue Team changes. The payment claim should be treated as a joke or an unverified question unless the developer confirms it.

What has Bulkhead confirmed about Season 02?

Bulkhead’s Season 02 teaser gives October 15, 2026 as the season date. The accompanying official announcement says the update is planned to bring new map conditions, equipment, balance reworks and additional features. It does not identify a Blue-specific change or say players will be paid to pick that team.

That distinction matters: a planned balance rework is not evidence of a particular fix, and it does not establish that the developer will use cash or another reward to change team selection.

Why does Blue have a losing reputation?

On September 17, 2026, Bulkhead CEO John Brammer acknowledged a team-balance problem in a statement quoted by GamesRadar+: “We definitely have a balancing issue, But it’s green team who win most of the time, green and red are fairly even.. and that’s been the same way since pre-alpha. But blue getting destroyed is definitely a problem with mixed reasons.”

That is a qualitative assessment, not a set of measured win-rate figures. Brammer’s comments indicate that Blue’s poor results have more than one contributing reason, but the quoted statement does not spell out those reasons or quantify how often each team wins.

Are players actually avoiding Blue?

PC Gamer reports players hesitating over Blue during team selection, including the refrain “Anything but blue.” The article presents some of the hostility as a running joke among players and developers, while also recounting community anecdotes about poor Blue performances and delayed matches.

Those reports help explain how the reputation spreads, but anecdotes and jokes are not a representative survey. They do not show how many players avoid Blue, how team populations compare at match start, or what the teams’ win rates are.

Is the “team colour update” real?

No. A September 16 community post styled as a “WAR DOGS — TEAM COLOUR UPDATE” jokes that Red and Green will be removed while Blue remains unchanged. It is satire, not an official developer announcement, and does not establish that any faction is being removed or that players will be paid. The post is available on Reddit.

What would confirm a payment incentive?

Look for a direct statement from Bulkhead specifying what players would receive, who qualifies, and how the incentive would work. Until such an announcement appears, neither the Season 02 teaser nor the balance statement supports the claim that Blue players will be paid.
