Valve’s published buying route for Steam Deck is online: through Steam in the US, Canada, UK and EU, and through Komodo in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Valve’s official pages do not list a brick-and-mortar store network. That does not prove no independent shop ever carries one, so check a specific retailer’s live listing and terms before making a trip or purchase.
Where Valve says to buy Steam Deck
Valve’s Steam Deck FAQ names direct sales through Steam for the US, Canada, UK and EU. For Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, it names Komodo as the sales partner. Valve’s product page links buyers to Steam or Komodo and lists Steam Deck LCD and Steam Deck OLED configurations.

Possibly, but Valve’s published channels do not establish whether any particular retailer or reseller currently has units in stock. An independent shop may list a device, but its listing is not evidence of local inventory or an official Valve sales relationship.

Before visiting or paying, check the retailer’s current listing and confirm:
- Whether the exact model is LCD or OLED and what storage configuration it has.
- Whether the unit is physically in stock at the location, available for pickup, or only offered for delivery.
- Who the seller is, especially if the listing appears on a marketplace.
- The seller’s return terms and any applicable warranty coverage.
Retailer stock, seller identity and return or warranty terms vary; Valve’s product pages do not establish those details for third-party shops.

Check availability before you go
Use Valve’s Steam Deck product page or the named regional channel for your country to check the current official offer. Valve posted on May 27, 2026 that Steam Deck OLED was back in stock and that prices had changed. That dated update is not a guarantee of stock or pricing today, so check the live listing before ordering.

Valve says Steam Deck replacement parts and repair guides are available through iFixit. That is a repair route, not evidence that new consoles are sold in physical stores.
