Check your TV’s app store before buying a streaming device. Shahid says to look for its app preloaded on the TV or available to download; if it is not, Shahid names Chromecast and AirPlay as ways to watch on a big screen. Support can vary by exact model, so confirm the TV or device listing before you spend money.
First, check whether your TV can run Shahid
- Open the TV’s app store and search for Shahid. If the app is already installed, open it and check that you can sign in and play content.
- If it is not installed, look for Shahid in the app store. Shahid advises checking for a preloaded app or downloading it from the device’s store. The exact menu names and app availability can vary by TV and market.
- Check the listing for your specific TV model, not just its brand. Shahid’s applications page identifies Android TV availability for TCL, Skyworth, and Sony, but does not guarantee support for every model.

If Shahid is not available on the TV
Shahid names Chromecast and AirPlay as big-screen options for people without a smart TV. Check that the exact streaming device or AirPlay-capable setup you intend to use supports Shahid before buying or relying on it; the applications page does not identify compatible generations or specific AirPlay receivers.

If you already own a suitable setup, try it before purchasing another device. For a new purchase, confirm Shahid support for the precise model in its current listing rather than assuming that all devices under a product family work.

Keep device support separate from simultaneous-stream limits
Whether Shahid runs on a TV is a compatibility question. How many devices can play at once is a plan limit. Shahid’s subscription page lists these concurrent stream allowances:

- It does not appear: Check Shahid’s current listing for your exact TV model or streaming device.
- You are considering casting: Shahid names Chromecast and AirPlay, but does not specify compatible generations or receivers on its applications page.
- More than one person will watch at once: Check your plan’s concurrent-stream allowance separately from device compatibility.
