Yes—CyberLink PowerDirector 2026 and PhotoDirector 2026 list 64-bit Windows 10 as a supported operating system. Compatibility still depends on whether your PC meets the specific app’s processor, memory, graphics and storage requirements, and whether it has the codecs needed for your media workflow. Separately, Microsoft support for the Windows 10 editions it lists ended on October 14, 2025.
Which CyberLink apps work with Windows 10?
CyberLink lists 64-bit Windows 10 for both PowerDirector 2026, its video editor, and PhotoDirector 2026, its photo editor. These are version-specific compatibility statements, not a guarantee that every Windows 10 computer can run every feature. PowerDirector is the relevant product if you want to edit video. CyberLink’s 2026 requirements specify a 64-bit version of Windows 10 or Windows 11, an Intel Core i-series processor from the 6th generation onward or an AMD Ryzen-series processor, and at least 8 GB of RAM. CyberLink recommends 16 GB or more. The minimum installation space listed is 7 GB.

Hardware needs rise with the work. CyberLink recommends an Intel Core i5 or better for Full HD editing and an Intel Core i7 or better for 2K, 4K or 360-degree editing. The requirements page gives additional graphics-processor and feature-specific details; check it against your PC rather than treating the operating-system listing as the full compatibility test.
Some AI features require AVX2 and an AI computing module. Internet access is required for initial software and file-format activation, and may also be needed for online services, subscription access, certain features and updates. CyberLink also lists Windows Media Player Media Feature Pack and Microsoft WebView2 Runtime among the requirements.

PhotoDirector 2026 requirements on Windows 10
PhotoDirector is for photo editing, and its requirements differ from PowerDirector’s. CyberLink lists 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11, an Intel Core i-series processor (6th generation) or AMD Ryzen and above, 4 GB of RAM minimum, and 8 GB or more recommended. The listed disk-space requirement is 10 GB for the application and documentation.
CyberLink recommends graphics memory of at least 1 GB with OpenCL capability; AI features call for 2 GB or more of graphics memory. Features such as Sky Replacement and Object Removal require AVX2. Internet access is needed for initial software and file-format activation, and may be needed for subscription access, online services, certain features and AI-component updates.

Check your PC before installing
- Confirm Windows edition and architecture. These 2026 requirements specify 64-bit Windows 10. Check your Windows system information to confirm your installed edition and whether the system is 64-bit.
- Match the product to the task. PowerDirector is for video; PhotoDirector is for photos. Use the requirement page for the exact app and version.
- Compare your hardware. Check processor generation, installed RAM, graphics support and available storage against the relevant requirements. For demanding video editing or AI tools, pay particular attention to the recommended hardware and feature-specific notes.
- Check your media formats. If Dolby Digital audio, MP4 H.264 export or another particular format matters, review the codec notes below and confirm the workflow for your edition.
- Allow for activation and online dependencies. Make sure the PC can access the internet when required for activation, updates or online features, and check any listed Windows components.
Codec notes that can affect a workflow
Windows 10 compatibility does not mean every codec is bundled with the application. CyberLink says PowerDirector’s Dolby Digital audio import is supported on Windows 10 and Windows 11 when the Windows inbox codec is available; CyberLink does not provide that codec in the product. Its H.264 note says MP4 export is supported on Windows 10 and Windows 11 with the Windows inbox codec.
For PhotoDirector, CyberLink likewise says MP4 H.264 export on Windows 10 and Windows 11 relies on the Windows inbox codec, which is not provided in the product. If a particular import or export is essential, verify the codec and edition requirements before depending on it. These are codec conditions, not a general statement that either application is incompatible with Windows 10. Windows 10 security support is a separate issue
Microsoft says support ended on October 14, 2025 for the Windows 10 editions covered by its lifecycle notice, including Home and Pro. Those editions no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes or technical support. This does not change CyberLink’s application compatibility listing, but a compatible app does not restore Windows security support.
