Wicked Templates sells downloadable HTML and Tailwind CSS templates, UI kits and starter projects. If you are looking for a substitute, the best choice depends less on brand than on three things: whether you need complete page layouts or reusable components, which CSS framework your project uses, and what license and update terms come with the purchase. Product Hunt’s alternatives pages are a useful discovery list, but they are a curated set rather than a ranking, and listing an entry does not prove that it offers the same scope, price or quality.
What Wicked Templates sells
Product Hunt describes Wicked Templates as a set of responsive HTML templates built with Bulma and Tailwind CSS. The vendor’s own product catalog currently presents Tailwind 3 and HTML 5 products, which is the more specific technical statement and the one to rely on. Check the framework line on each product page before you buy, because a Bulma-based template and a Tailwind-based one will not drop into the same project without rework.

Product Hunt records the original Wicked Templates launch on October 6, 2020, followed by launches for WickedBlocks and Wicked Templates 2.0 in 2021, according to its product page. That history tells you when the product appeared. It does not show whether the catalog is actively maintained today, so the update terms on the pricing page are the better guide.

How to choose a substitute
1. Match the framework and the output format
Start with what your project already runs on. Decide whether you need plain HTML, Tailwind code, a component library that is installed as a package, or a design file for a designer to adapt. A plain HTML starter suits a static site or a server-rendered page. A component library suits a React, Vue or similar app where you want to import pieces rather than copy them. Confirm the framework version the vendor supports, since a template built for an older Tailwind release can need changes before it works with a newer one.
2. Match the scope of the deliverable
Decide whether you need finished pages or building blocks. The table below separates the main deliverable types so you can compare like with like.

4. Check maintenance and support
Before you commit, look at each vendor’s release history, changelog, and support channels. A product that has not been updated for a long time may still work, but you will need to test it against current framework versions yourself. For Wicked Templates, the pricing page promises free updates; for every other product, confirm the promise on that product’s own site.

Product Hunt describes Wicked Templates as customizable and responsive. That is a vendor and platform claim, and it has not been tested here. Ask whether the visual direction matches your brand, whether class names and file structure make rebranding practical, and whether the layout holds up at the screen sizes your users need. A preview on the vendor’s site and a quick trial of the markup in your own project will answer these questions faster than any list.

Does the 20-user limit on All Access apply to larger teams?
The pricing page states access for 20 users. It does not describe what happens above that number, so ask the vendor about seat terms before buying for a larger team.
