A Polymarket code or bonus may not work because it belongs to a different Polymarket product, the account does not meet that offer’s eligibility rules, a required signup or deposit step was missed, or the user is in a restricted location. First identify whether the offer is for Polymarket International or Polymarket US: their documented referral programs have different rules, and a referral reward is not necessarily a new-user signup bonus.
Start by identifying which Polymarket product the offer is for
Polymarket International and Polymarket US have separate referral arrangements. A code or link for one should not be assumed to apply to the other. The official International Referral Program describes rewards for referring users; a 2026 Polymarket US program exhibit describes a specific referred-user account credit. Neither establishes that an arbitrary third-party promo code is valid.

These offers are not interchangeable. For example, if you expected a personal signup credit from the International referral program, the program description does not establish that every new user receives one. It describes referral rewards based on net fees.
Check the offer’s eligibility rules and signup steps
Promotional terms determine whether a code qualifies an account. Compare the exact official offer with what happened during signup rather than assuming that entering a code at any point will apply it.

- New-user status: Check whether the offer requires a first-time user. The cited US incentive does.
- Where and when the code was used: The US exhibit says to use the referral code to sign up. For International referrals, the new user must sign up within 30 days after clicking the referral link.
- Required onboarding or deposit: The cited US offer requires completed onboarding and a deposit of at least $10 within its 30-day window.
- What the reward is: Confirm whether the offer is a new-user credit, a reward for the referrer, a fee-based reward, or something else. The International program’s net-fee-based pUSD rewards are not the same as a guaranteed signup bonus.
- Whether the terms are current: Polymarket’s International referral page says terms may change. Check the offer’s current official terms rather than relying on an old code listing or screenshot.
Make sure your location is eligible
Polymarket restricts access in some jurisdictions. Check the current official geographic restrictions list for your location; a referral code does not override those rules. Polymarket says it prohibits using a VPN or similar tool to bypass geographic restrictions. Do not try to use one to make a code or account work in a blocked location.
Separate a missing credit from a technical error
A code that was not accepted, a reward that has not appeared, and an error while loading or claiming something are different problems. Basic technical checks may help with connection or claim errors, but they do not prove that an offer’s conditions were met or guarantee that a credit can be restored.

- For a technical error, check that your device’s date and time are correct, check your connection, refresh the page, and sign in again if needed.
- If you use a VPN or proxy, disable it for ordinary troubleshooting where permitted. Never use it to evade a location restriction.
- If the issue continues, use Polymarket’s official claim-failure and network-error guidance, then contact support if needed.
These checks address technical problems; they cannot establish eligibility for a promotion. A network or claim error is not evidence that a code qualified, or that a missing reward is owed.
What to send Polymarket support
If you appear to have met the offer’s stated requirements, contact Polymarket support through its official site. Include the platform (International or US), the offer or code, signup date, the relevant deposit or transaction reference if applicable, and the exact error or description of the missing credit. The official materials reviewed do not set out one universal appeals process or guarantee that support will grant a credit.

Be cautious of unsolicited bonus claims
Polymarket’s token FAQ says it has not announced an airdrop or token generation event and advises readers to be wary of airdrop and giveaway claims. Treat unsolicited bonus links as unverified, and do not give anyone your account credentials or make a deposit simply because a message promises a reward. Check announcements and offer terms through Polymarket’s official channels.
