If the problem began after death and respawning, one player reported that removing and re-equipping the talisman restored the effect—but this is an anecdotal workaround, not a confirmed fix.
What talismans are supposed to do
Minecraft describes talismans as a new equipment category that provides passive bonuses and build customization. In an official Xbox Wire interview, developer Laura de Llorens likewise called them “passive boosts.” A passive effect may not produce an obvious change in every moment of play, so check the item’s description and look for the specific stat or behavior it says it changes.

Check the talisman and its effect
- Confirm the item is equipped in a talisman slot, rather than merely present in your inventory.
- Read the item’s listed effect and identify what it should change. Check the relevant stat or gameplay behavior instead of relying only on a general impression that the character feels different.
- Note when you first noticed the effect was missing, especially whether it happened after death and respawning.
If it stopped after respawning
A player report describes a talisman effect appearing to vanish after death and respawn. In that report, removing the talisman and equipping it again restored the effect. You can try the same reversible workaround and then check whether the bonus returns; one player’s experience does not establish that it will work for everyone or that respawning is a confirmed bug.
If re-equipping does not help
Check the current Minecraft Dungeons II changelog for relevant updates. If you can reproduce the problem, submit it through Minecraft Feedback’s bug-report resource. The available official material does not diagnose a talisman-specific respawn issue or confirm a fix.

Do not confuse talisman problems with artifact failures
Talismans provide passive bonuses; artifacts are a separate category of equipment with active effects. A Minecraft Feedback post reports artifacts consuming souls without activating during rapid successive use. That report concerns artifacts, not talisman passives, and does not establish the same cause or remedy for a talisman that appears ineffective.
