A 24/7 schedule alone is not listed by YouTube as a reason Super Chat is unavailable. The documented causes concern channel eligibility, location and accepted terms, restrictions on the specific stream, or live chat and comments being turned off. Check the channel and the active stream separately in YouTube Studio; the exact cause depends on which eligibility condition is not met.
Check whether the problem affects one stream or the whole channel
Start by comparing the affected stream with other streams on the same channel. If Super Chat is missing only on one stream, first inspect that stream’s settings and restrictions. If the Supers option is absent across the channel, focus on channel eligibility, supported location, accepted terms and account restrictions. This is a troubleshooting priority based on YouTube’s separate channel- and video-level requirements, not a guaranteed diagnosis.

Check channel-level eligibility in YouTube Studio
YouTube lists channel and creator requirements for Super Chat and Super Stickers, including living in a supported country or region, meeting fan-funding requirements, and accepting and following the applicable terms, including the Commerce Product Module. Its monetization overview also lists being at least 18 and being in an eligible country or region among the Super Chat requirements.

- Open YouTube Studio and go to Earn.
- Look for the Supers tab or card and review whether Super Chat is available and whether Studio identifies an unmet requirement.
- Review the channel’s applicable terms and account status. If a requirement is not met, correct that issue or follow the steps Studio provides; changing the stream’s schedule will not substitute for channel eligibility.
Check the affected stream’s restrictions and settings
YouTube says Super Chat and Super Stickers are unavailable on age-restricted, unlisted or private videos, Made for Kids videos, and YouTube Giving fundraiser videos. They are also unavailable when live chat or comments are turned off. Check the settings for the specific active stream rather than assuming that settings on another broadcast apply.

- Audience: check whether it is designated Made for Kids.
- Age restriction: review whether the video or stream is age-restricted.
- Fundraiser: check whether it is a YouTube Giving fundraiser.
- Chat and comments: confirm live chat or comments have not been disabled.
Any one of these listed stream conditions can make Super Chat unavailable for that video, even if the channel otherwise has access to Supers.
Review live-streaming and policy restrictions
YouTube requires channel verification to live stream and says a channel must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. If the listed Super Chat settings appear correct, review account and stream status in Studio for restrictions or notices that could affect live features. Do not assume that a missing Super Chat control is caused by stream duration.

Make sure you are checking the active live chat
Super Chat is a paid message highlighted in live chat during a livestream or Premiere. After a broadcast ends, viewers may watch a replay as a regular video; the replay is not the active live-chat experience. Confirm that you are looking at the live chat for the ongoing stream, not only at its replay.
Does running continuously disable Super Chat?
YouTube’s published eligibility list does not identify continuous 24/7 operation as a disqualifying condition. That means duration alone is not an established cause in the documented rules. It does not rule out an account-specific restriction or a later change to YouTube’s policies, so check Studio for the status of the channel and the particular stream.

Would changing how the stream is hosted fix it?
Not by itself. A different computer, encoder or cloud host does not meet YouTube’s channel eligibility requirements or change a stream’s audience, visibility, fundraiser or chat settings. Hosting and Super Chat eligibility are separate issues.
