If your fireplace video repeats but its audio does not, first check that Repeat or Loop video is enabled for the current video. Autoplay is different: it starts another related video after playback ends, rather than repeating the one you are watching. If the repeat setting is on, the symptom alone cannot tell you whether the audio track or the app or device is responsible.
Check the repeat setting—not Autoplay
YouTube treats repeating the current video and Autoplay as separate controls. Autoplay starts another related video when the current one ends; it does not loop the current video. You can check YouTube’s instructions for Autoplay and for looping videos or playlists on a computer.
On a TV or game console
Open the playback controls or Settings and select Repeat until it shows “Repeat • Currently playing”. That state indicates the current video is set to repeat. The exact controls can vary by device; YouTube’s looping instructions cover TV and console playback.
On Android
In YouTube, open Settings → Additional settings → Loop video. If you are watching a playlist, you can loop the playlist; tap its loop control again to repeat just one video in the playlist. See YouTube’s Android instructions.

Find out whether the issue is the video, app, or device
If the repeat setting is correct but the fireplace video’s audio still does not loop, the available guidance does not identify a fireplace-specific cause. The sound may be part of the uploaded video, or playback may be behaving differently in the app or on the device. Use these checks to narrow down where the problem occurs; none proves a cause on its own.
- Confirm which app you are using. YouTube and YouTube TV are different services and apps. YouTube TV’s help page notes that its TV app is separate from the YouTube app. Start with the help for the app you actually opened: YouTube TV on a TV or the YouTube loop instructions above.
- Play another video in the same app. If unrelated videos have the same audio mismatch, the app or device path becomes more plausible. If only the fireplace video has the issue, the particular video or its audio becomes more plausible. This is an isolation test, not a diagnosis.
- Try the same video in another app or on another device, if available. If you are using YouTube TV, its troubleshooting guidance recommends checking whether the issue also occurs in another app on the device. If it does, the device manufacturer may be able to help.
- If it appears limited to one app, update it. If that does not help, uninstall and reinstall it. YouTube TV documents these steps for its supported TV app in its TV app guidance; steps for other apps may differ.
What the symptom does—and does not—tell you
Whether the sound stops exactly when the picture resets, continues across the reset, or comes from a separate audio source could help narrow down what is happening. But without knowing the device, app, video, and audio source, it is not possible to identify a specific cause from the symptom alone. The cited guidance does not establish a known YouTube defect that makes fireplace video repeat while its audio fails to loop.
