YouTube identifies file size and format, upload bandwidth and connection stability, peak-hour traffic, and video quality as factors that can affect upload time. Because the loop service, broadband provider, error message, and failure stage are not specified, there is no basis to identify one cause—or an India-specific cause—in this case.
First work out where the upload is failing
Before changing your export settings or blaming your broadband provider, note the exact error and when it appears. A transfer that is still progressing is different from an upload that has stopped, a file rejected immediately, or a video that has finished transferring but is stuck in processing.

- Before transfer: The service may reject the file, or the workflow may have an account, channel, browser, or format issue.
- During transfer: Upload bandwidth, connection stability, peak-hour traffic, file size, or the loop service’s own upload process may be involved.
- After transfer: YouTube may still be processing the video. Processing time depends on factors including quality, length, format, and traffic.
Keep a note of the error wording, the time it occurred, the file’s size and format, and whether the service’s progress indicator stopped or continued. Error categories point to different remedies; for example, YouTube associates “Processing abandoned” with a shortened or invalid file or reduced upload speeds. That message does not, by itself, prove which one occurred.

Make sure the recording is intact
Play the file locally from beginning to end, or at least check that it opens and plays through several points. A shortened, damaged, or invalid file can fail even when the connection is working. If the loop service reports a file or processing error, keep the original and record the exact error before making a new export.

Check the format and encoding
YouTube accepts video formats including MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM, ProRes, and HEVC. Audio-only files cannot be uploaded as videos. A familiar file extension alone does not guarantee that every codec or third-party uploader will accept the file, so use the error message and the loop service’s own requirements to guide any re-export.
If YouTube identifies a format problem, try a video format supported by YouTube and accepted by the service. Avoid repeatedly converting the file without a specific reason: a new export can change quality, and it may not address a connection or account problem.
Tell a slow upload from an upload that has failed
Uploads can take minutes or hours depending on file size, available upload bandwidth, traffic, format, and quality. A large, high-resolution video can therefore take a long time even when it is transferring normally. Watch for continued progress rather than treating elapsed time alone as proof of failure.

YouTube Help identifies a slow or unstable internet connection as a main cause of slow uploads. It also notes that some internet service providers see upload-traffic spikes at peak hours, which can make uploads to YouTube take longer. Those are general possibilities—not evidence that a particular Indian ISP, connection type, or location is responsible.
Compare conditions, not just one speed-test result
- Note the upload speed and whether the connection is steady while the video is uploading.
- If practical, try the same file on another network or at a different time and compare the result.
- Compare the failure stage and exact error as well as the apparent speed. A single slow upload, or a difference between a speed test and an upload, does not establish ISP throttling.
The YouTube guidance cited here does not establish a minimum upload speed for Indian broadband. Without the provider, connection details, file size, and observed upload performance, a specific speed threshold would be guesswork.
Reduce the transfer size only if it makes sense
A smaller export can take less time to transfer, but compressing or lowering the resolution may reduce picture quality. If you choose to export a smaller file, compare the new file’s playback and quality before replacing the original. Recover an interrupted upload
- Return to YouTube’s upload page within 24 hours of the interruption.
- Select the same file again in the YouTube upload workflow to continue from where the upload left off.
- If the attempt still fails, note whether the error occurs during transfer or processing, then check the file and connection separately.
YouTube Help describes resuming an interrupted upload this way. An application using the YouTube Data API can also use Google’s resumable-upload protocol, which supports checking a session and continuing from the last successful point. That does not establish that an unnamed loop service uses the protocol; its documentation or support team would need to confirm its behavior.

Check for browser, channel, or account restrictions
If the file is rejected before meaningful transfer, or the error mentions eligibility or restrictions, check the channel and account rather than changing broadband equipment. YouTube’s error guidance lists browser issues and channel or account restrictions among possible explanations for particular errors. Preserve the exact wording: a format error, a processing error, and an account restriction call for different next steps.
If the upload works through YouTube’s own workflow but fails in the loop service, that comparison narrows the issue to something about the service’s workflow or its interaction with the file. It does not by itself prove a service defect: the service may have different file requirements or upload behavior. Ask its support team whether it has a file-size limit, which formats and codecs it accepts, and whether it resumes interrupted uploads.

What is not established about the unnamed loop service
“YouTube loop service” does not identify a particular product. There is no service name, provider, file size, format and codec, upload speed, error text, browser or app, or failure stage here. General YouTube guidance cannot show whether that service imposes its own file-size cap, has a regional routing issue, or supports resumable uploads. Those questions need the service’s own documentation or support response.
