To check, open the site, tap the Content Blocker control beside the address field, choose No Blocking, and reload. If the site then works, choose the least permissive blocking level that restores the features you need. If it still fails, check other browser and site settings.
How to tell whether Vivaldi’s blocker is the cause
Vivaldi’s Android troubleshooting guide says that website functionality may depend on elements associated with trackers that the Tracker and/or Ad blocker blocks. That makes a blocker conflict one possible cause, not proof that it is responsible for every broken page. Vivaldi explains that its Tracker Blocker uses lists of known tracker URLs to stop requests before they are sent; the Ad Blocker adds protection against ads not already blocked by the Tracker Blocker. A site may depend on a blocked element, but only testing can show whether changing the blocker helps on that particular site.

- Open the affected website in Vivaldi on Android.
- Tap the Content Blocker control at the left of the address field. Vivaldi’s Address Field guide describes this control.
- Choose No Blocking for the site.
- Reload the page. Vivaldi notes that a reload is often needed for a changed setting to take effect.
If the page works with No Blocking, the blocker interaction is implicated. If it does not, restore your preferred blocking level and continue with the checks below.
Which per-site blocking level should you use?
Vivaldi offers three levels. Their effects describe the protections selected, not a guarantee that any specific website will work.

After changing the level, reload the site and check the specific feature that failed, such as sign-in, video playback, or a form. If Block Trackers restores it, that may be preferable to turning off both protections. If only No Blocking works, you can keep that setting for the affected site rather than changing the browser’s global setting.
Set or review an exception for the site
To manage a site’s setting from Vivaldi’s settings, go to Menu > Settings > Tracker and Ad Blocking > Exceptions > Manage blocking level per site. Add the domain, select a blocking level, and save. Vivaldi’s Block Trackers and Ads in Vivaldi on Android guide documents the levels and per-site exceptions. Menu wording can differ between app versions, so follow the closest current on-screen labels if yours do not match exactly.

A site exception is more targeted than changing the global blocking level: it applies the selected choice to that domain while leaving your broader preference in place.

If changing the blocker does not help
A failure that persists with No Blocking may have another cause. Vivaldi’s Android troubleshooting guidance recommends checking the browser and other settings:

- Update and restart Vivaldi. Check whether an update is available, install it, and restart the browser.
- Check third-party cookies. This is particularly relevant when the page relies on embedded or cross-site content. Cookie controls and other site options are covered in Vivaldi’s Site Settings guide.
- Temporarily disable extensions. If the site starts working, re-enable extensions one at a time to identify a possible conflict.
- Reset flags if you changed experimental settings. This is relevant if the problem began after changing Vivaldi flags.
- Clear browsing data. Stale cache or cookies can interfere with a page; be aware that clearing data may sign you out of sites.

If a site reports that cookies are disabled, sign-in loops, or embedded content fails, review its cookie settings. If buttons, menus, or other interactive features do not work, check whether JavaScript is allowed. In Vivaldi, open Menu > Settings > Site Settings and review the relevant option or site permission. The available controls and exact labels may vary by version; Vivaldi’s Site Settings guide describes the Android options. Change only settings relevant to the symptoms, then reload the page.
