To print screen with a Logitech keyboard, press the key or key combination listed for your exact model and operating system. On the K580, for example, Logitech documents Fn+Home as Print Screen. On some newer models, a camera icon labeled Screen Capture opens a snipping tool instead of sending the traditional Print Screen command.
Find the Print Screen key or its equivalent
Look across the keyboard for a key labeled Print Screen, PrtSc, or a camera-like Screen Capture icon. Some newer Logitech keyboards have no dedicated Print Screen key; Logitech says the camera icon is typically on F7 or F8 on compact keyboards. Check the model’s support guide rather than assuming the icon has the same function on every keyboard. Logitech’s screenshot guidance

Use the shortcut for your Logitech model
Logitech’s model guides show that the shortcut and behavior vary. These examples are not interchangeable: check the guide for your keyboard and the operating system it is set up to use.

Understand Screen Capture versus Print Screen
A key marked Screen Capture does not necessarily send the traditional Print Screen keycode. Logitech says that on newer models, F7 may launch the operating system’s snipping tool instead. That can still let you capture part of the screen, but it is a different action from sending Print Screen to the operating system. Logitech’s explanation of Screen Capture

Restore Print Screen behavior after an Options+ change
Logitech’s support article says that Logi Options+ version 1.86 changed the Screen Capture action so it no longer functions as a Print Screen key. For a supported device, assign the separate Print Screen action instead:
- Open Logi Options+ and select your device.
- Open Keys or Buttons, depending on the device.
- Select the key or button you want to use.
- Choose Print Screen from the available actions.
This assigns the Print Screen keycode; it is not the same as assigning the Screen Capture action. Logitech’s Options+ guidance

If the shortcut is not working
- You cannot find a Print Screen label: inspect the F-row for a camera-like icon and look up the exact keyboard model.
- The camera key opens a snipping tool: that may be its intended Screen Capture behavior, rather than a fault or a traditional Print Screen command.
- A shortcut from another Logitech keyboard fails: use your model’s guide; Fn combinations are not universal across Logitech keyboards.
- The key works differently across devices: check the operating system mapping and keyboard mode in the model guide.
- An assigned action changed: if the device supports Logi Options+, assign the separate Print Screen action using the steps above.
If you do not know the model, check the keyboard itself or its packaging, then find its matching Logitech support guide. Do not assume Fn+Home or Fn+F7 will work across the product range.
