The software details are not directly equivalent. realme’s India specifications identify Android 15 but do not state a support duration on the cited page. Motorola lists Android 16 and up to three years of OS upgrades and security updates through July 2031. Check the exact regional model and its support terms when purchasing.

What is the price difference in India?
A reliable current price difference cannot be calculated from the available figures. Gadgets360 reported India launch prices for the Edge 70 Max on 15 July 2026: ₹54,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹59,999 for 12GB/256GB. The report said sales would begin on 20 July 2026. These are reported launch prices, not verified current offers.

Nor is it enough to calculate a fair difference against the Edge launch prices. Compare live prices from the same Indian seller on the same date, matching RAM and storage. The GT 7 Pro India listing includes 12GB/256GB, which is the closest listed match to the Edge’s 12GB/256GB configuration; the 8GB/256GB Edge has no matching GT 7 Pro tier in realme’s cited India specifications.

Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the GT 7 Pro if a dedicated periscope telephoto camera or higher listed wired-charging wattage is central to your choice.
- Consider the Edge 70 Max if its larger listed battery capacity, higher listed display resolution and refresh rate, or wireless charging better fits your priorities.
- Do not choose on an assumed performance, photo-quality, battery-life, or price winner. Manufacturer specifications do not answer those real-world comparisons, and the available price fields do not support a reliable current price gap.
