“PayPal address” can mean your account’s street address, your PayPal email, a card’s billing address, or the delivery address for a purchase. They are different details with different settings. To manage the street address saved to your account, sign in and open Settings → Addresses; to manage a PayPal email, use Settings → Emails.
Identify which PayPal address you mean

Find or change the street address on your account
- Sign in to PayPal.
- Open Settings.
- Select Addresses.
- Add a new address or edit an existing one. If you are replacing your home address, set the new address as the home address before trying to remove the old one.
These steps reflect PayPal’s published account-address workflow. The cited instructions are for Canada, so localized labels and rules may differ. Consult the help page for your country if your account shows a different layout or you need to confirm a local restriction.

When an address cannot be removed or used as your primary address
PayPal Canada’s guidance says an account must keep at least one address. It also says a PO Box should not be the primary address, and an address used as a credit-card billing address cannot be removed. If the address is linked to a card, PayPal advises changing the billing address with the card issuer first. The same Canadian guidance says a PO Box may be used as a shipping or mailing address for shipping and courier purposes, but not as a billing address. Check PayPal’s rules for your own country before relying on these Canada-specific details.

PayPal Canada states, “You can’t change your address to another country or region.” Its guidance says someone moving abroad must close the existing account and open one in the new country or region of residence. That is Canadian help-page guidance; verify the process with PayPal for the country tied to your account before closing it.

Change your PayPal email separately
If you meant the email associated with the account, go to Settings → Emails, not Addresses. PayPal’s US instructions require confirmation of a newly added email. They also say you must set another email as primary before removing the current primary email. See PayPal’s US email-management instructions.

PayPal does not describe every saved address as automatically visible to every merchant or recipient. Its privacy information says that, when you pay for goods or services, the recipient sees the shipping address. It also describes transaction-related information that may be shared with merchants, including your name, email address, amount received, and phone number, for processing transactions and preventing fraud. What is shared depends on the transaction context; a saved account street address is not the same thing as a delivery address. Read PayPal Privacy Practices.
