The Pro models became available on September 18, 2026; Apple announced iPhone Duo availability from October 23, 2026. Apple has not established current India prices by storage tier in the reviewed buying information, so check the live Apple Store or a retailer before deciding.
Which iPhones use the A20 Pro?
Apple’s India buying page and 2026 launch announcements name three models with the A20 Pro: iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo. The first two are conventional slab-style Pro phones; Duo is a foldable.

How do the three models differ?
| Model | Design and display | Other distinctions Apple lists |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 18 Pro | Conventional Pro phone | 48MP Pro Fusion camera system; up to 43 hours of video playback for the Pro lineup, under Apple’s test conditions |
| iPhone 18 Pro Max | Larger conventional Pro phone | Apple says it has the largest battery-life increase on a Pro model in this generation; the Pro lineup is listed for up to 43 hours of video playback under Apple’s test conditions |
| iPhone Duo | Foldable, with a 7.6-inch inner display and 5.4-inch outer display | Custom vapour chamber and dual-battery architecture; up to 31 hours of video playback using the inner display or up to 44 hours using the outer display, under Apple’s test conditions |
Apple’s video-playback figures are manufacturer claims under stated test conditions, not direct estimates of typical mixed-use battery life. For a choice between models, consider whether you want a foldable screen or a conventional phone, then compare camera needs, preferred size, storage and live India pricing.

What should buyers check before choosing?
- Price by storage tier: Current India prices for each model and capacity were not verified in Apple’s reviewed buying information. Check the current Apple Store or retailer listing rather than relying on an unsourced category-page price range.
- Stock and delivery: Availability can vary by model, storage and seller; confirm the listing for your location.
- Form factor: Duo’s foldable inner and outer screens serve different use cases from the Pro models’ conventional design.
- Battery claims: Treat Apple’s playback hours as results under its test conditions, not a prediction for your daily mix of apps, calls and screen use.
- Accessories: Apple’s India buying page lists an iPhone 18 Pro Clear Case. Verify exact model compatibility and current availability before buying.
