A developer hotfix on September 14 fixed Grisha Remnant spawning and targeting issues, and a later player post says the Bell Pit farm was patched. Neither source conclusively establishes whether the specific pit drop still works on every platform or build, so test it in your installed version before investing time in it.
What the Bell Pit farm is supposed to do
The method relies on the Grisha Remnant’s active summon and a passive effect that can trigger from melee swings. In the August 26 guide’s account, a summoned Grisha that falls into the pit or lands on its spikes can produce another Remnant. The guide presents this as unintended behavior, not a guaranteed drop: some summoned Grisha reportedly fall into the pit, while others land on the floor.

Because it depends on the summon’s behavior and an instant-death hazard, treat the pit as a variable exploit rather than a predictable per-swing reward. The guide recommends building an initial stack through its Marrow Keep Grisha loop before trying the Bell Pit.

- Equip Grisha Remnant in the passive slot. The setup described by the guide uses its passive effect while you repeatedly attack.
- Clear the room first. Remove other enemies so they do not disrupt the setup.
- Stand beside the bell on the safer side of the pit. The guide cautions against standing on the exposed rail.
- Use a fast weapon and repeatedly swing. The passive may summon Grisha; according to the guide, a Remnant can result when one falls or lands on the spikes. Expect some summons to land on the floor instead.
The guide does not establish a drop rate, proc chance, stack cap, or time per Remnant. Do not assume each swing or summon will yield one.

Where is the Bell Pit?
The route described by the guide uses landmarks rather than verified map coordinates. Start at the Outskirts of Mammon beacon, descend across the bridges and a traversal point to a beacon at the bottom, then double back uphill toward the dungeon. At the dungeon entrance, shoot the bell to raise a bridge. Continue inside, clear the room, and find the bell beside the spike pit for the setup.
If the route does not match your current game, use the in-game landmarks and beacons to orient yourself; the guide supplies no confirmed coordinate or map marker.

Does the Grisha Remnant farm still work?
Current reliability is unresolved. The August 26 guide was updated after a balance update was reportedly rolling out around August 21. On September 14, Team Mortal Shell’s developer-published Steam hotfix notes said: “Fixed spawning and targeting issues with Grisha Remnant and the Summon Stone.” The entry applies to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, but does not specifically say the Bell Pit drop exploit was removed. A September 2026 Reddit post claims the Bell Pit and other discovered farms were patched; that is an anecdotal report and does not identify a verified platform or build.
These reports conflict in what they establish: the official note confirms a relevant change to Grisha Remnant behavior, while the player post claims the farm itself was patched. Neither provides definitive, platform-by-platform confirmation of the Bell Pit exploit’s present status. If you try it, confirm that the summon and drop behavior occurs in your installed version rather than relying on the older guide.

Alternative: the Desolate Keep respawn loop
A separate guide checked on August 22, 2026 for Balance Patch 1 on PC describes a repeatable Grisha route in Desolate Keep. It is another guide-reported option, not independently confirmed for every current platform, and the guide warns that updates can close farming loops.
- Carry the Slayer Seal without equipping it.
- Open the hidden dungeon in Desolate Keep and defeat the Grisha.
- Leave the area, rest at a Beacon, then return to check for the Grisha again.
That guide was checked for PC while console rollout was still pending, so do not assume its behavior is identical across platforms or later builds.

If your priority is the Bell Pit specifically, try it only as an in-game check, not as a guaranteed farm. If it no longer produces Remnants, the Desolate Keep route is a separate reported alternative, but it too may vary with updates and platform.
