The Dimensity 7025 family has the higher stated performance-core clock, and NanoReview’s aggregated results put the base Dimensity 7025 ahead of Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 in AnTuTu 11 and Geekbench 6. But those results are not a matched test of the Dimensity 7025 Ultra: the available Ultra figures come from a separate publisher and device pool. Treat the chipset specs as a useful starting point, not proof that every phone with one chip will be faster.
What the comparison can—and cannot—tell you
There is a naming distinction that matters: NanoReview’s comparison is for Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 versus the base Dimensity 7025, while the title here asks about the Dimensity 7025 Ultra. MediaTek’s published 7025 specifications and 91mobiles’ listing for the Ultra show a similar CPU arrangement, but the available benchmark sets do not provide a controlled, same-device comparison of Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and Dimensity 7025 Ultra.

So the best-supported takeaway is limited but useful: the Dimensity 7025 line has a higher listed peak performance-core clock, and one aggregated comparison favors the base 7025 in its reported CPU and overall scores. The separate Ultra results cannot be ranked against those figures as if the phones, conditions, and sample pools were identical.

Specifications at a glance
| Feature | Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 | Dimensity 7025 / 7025 Ultra |
|---|---|---|
| CPU layout | Two performance cores up to 2.3 GHz and six efficiency cores up to 2 GHz, according to Qualcomm. | MediaTek lists two Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz for the 7025. 91mobiles lists the same arrangement for the Ultra. |
| Manufacturing process | 4 nm, according to Qualcomm, which describes it as the first 4 nm node in the 4-series. | TSMC N6, a 6 nm-class process, for the 7025 in MediaTek’s specifications; 91mobiles lists 6 nm for the Ultra. |
| Graphics | Adreno GPU; the Qualcomm product brief consulted does not specify a model. | IMG BXM-8-256, listed by MediaTek for the 7025. |
| Display capability | FHD+ support up to 120 Hz. | Up to 2520 × 1080 resolution and 120 Hz for the 7025. |
| Memory support | Verify the memory configuration of the specific phone; the consulted platform brief does not establish a handset configuration. | LPDDR5 or LPDDR4X support, according to MediaTek for the 7025. |
| Connectivity | X61 5G; sub-6 GHz, standalone and non-standalone modes, and up to 2.5 Gbps downlink in Qualcomm’s brief. | MediaTek lists multi-mode 2G–5G, 5G carrier aggregation, and dual 5G SIM standalone support for the 7025. |
These are platform capabilities, not a promise that a particular handset implements every feature. Phone makers select components and configurations, so two phones built around the same chip can differ in memory, display, connectivity, and cooling.

What the benchmark numbers say
The figures below come from two publishers’ separate live pages, accessed in 2026. Keep the publisher, benchmark version, chip label, and sample information attached to each result: these are reported samples, not a controlled head-to-head test.
| Publisher and chip labels | AnTuTu 11 | Geekbench 6 single-core | Geekbench 6 multi-core | What the sample represents |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NanoReview: Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 vs Dimensity 7025 | 568,395 vs 668,462 | 915 vs 969 | 2,115 vs 2,321 | Aggregated results: 17 Snapdragon tests and 30 Dimensity tests for AnTuTu 11; 14 and 10 tests, respectively, for Geekbench 6. The Dimensity label is the base 7025, not 7025 Ultra. |
| 91mobiles: Dimensity 7025 Ultra | 486,435 | 950 | 2,276 | 91mobiles reports results from tested devices using the chip and describes 486,435 as the highest AnTuTu result recorded by a device using it. Its pool is separate from NanoReview’s. |
NanoReview’s base-7025 aggregates are higher than its Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 aggregates in all three displayed results. That supports a narrow comparison of those publisher-reported samples; it does not establish that a 7025 Ultra phone will reproduce the base-7025 result or beat every Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 phone. The 91mobiles Ultra scores also should not be directly ranked against NanoReview’s values: the test pools and conditions are not shown to be equivalent.

CPU clocks are a clue, not a speed guarantee
The listed performance-core maximum is 2.5 GHz for Dimensity 7025 and 2.3 GHz for Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. Those peak frequencies do not by themselves describe sustained speed, responsiveness, or performance under a long workload. The phone’s thermal design, software, and power limits influence what the processor can maintain.
A smaller process number does not settle battery life
Qualcomm specifies a 4 nm process for Snapdragon 4 Gen 2; MediaTek identifies TSMC N6 for Dimensity 7025, and 91mobiles lists the Ultra at 6 nm. Node labels alone do not determine how long a phone lasts on a charge. Battery capacity, display, radio conditions, software, and workload all affect actual endurance.
Display support does not predict gaming frame rates
Both platforms list support for displays up to 120 Hz, while MediaTek specifies IMG BXM-8-256 graphics for the 7025. Qualcomm’s consulted brief names an Adreno GPU without specifying its model. A phone’s installed screen may have a lower refresh rate, and platform display support is not evidence that a game will run at a particular frame rate. The available figures do not establish a matched gaming result for these exact chip variants.
Choose between phones, not just chip names
If you are deciding between two handsets, compare the exact regional models and their full configurations. A phone using the Dimensity 7025 Ultra, such as the POCO M7 Pro listed by 91mobiles, is a device-level option to investigate; confirm the model, specification, and availability in your market before buying.
- Memory: Check the RAM and storage configuration of the specific retail model, not only the chip’s supported memory types.
- Cooling: Look for device-specific evidence about sustained performance; a short peak score may not represent longer use.
- Battery and display: Compare capacity, screen size and refresh rate, and any credible battery testing for the exact phones.
- Software support: Check the maker’s support commitment for the exact regional variant.
- Price and networks: Compare current local prices and confirm that the phone supports the bands and 5G modes used by your carrier.
Qualcomm cautions in its Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 product brief that results vary with OEM implementation and other factors, and that battery life varies by device, settings, usage, and other factors. Those qualifications apply to interpreting chip-level claims in a real handset purchase.
