Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon follows a young Cereza and Cheshire through Avalon Forest. Rather than matching the mainline games’ action framing, it asks you to coordinate the two characters as you explore, solve puzzles, and fight faeries, as described in Nintendo’s announcement.

Can you try Bayonetta Origins before buying?
Nintendo says a demo is available for Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, and that save progress from the demo can carry over to the full game after purchase. Check your local eShop to confirm the demo is currently offered in your region. Nintendo also lists a Nintendo Switch Game Card edition on its US store; the UK listing indicates a game-card option as well.
