Streaming: weigh the display, speakers, and connection together

When comparing models, treat Wi-Fi or cellular access as a question of where you will use the tablet, not as an automatic measure of display or streaming quality. A cellular-capable model is relevant if mobile access is part of your routine; it is not a requirement simply because you stream video.
Gaming: match performance to the games you intend to play
Check the game catalog before comparing raw specifications

Refresh rate can help, but only when the game can use it
A high-refresh-rate display can improve motion handling when a game supports it. That figure is Tom’s Guide’s result for that stated test, not a general performance claim for all games or an independent test of every tablet. Separate native gaming from cloud gaming
For games that run on the tablet, processor capability, RAM, game support, and display behavior are central. Cloud gaming adds another dependency: the game is played through a network service, so the tablet’s Wi-Fi capability and the quality and stability of your internet connection both matter.

GamesRadar identifies Wi-Fi 6E as a feature to consider and says Wi-Fi 7 is appearing in more devices. These are options to evaluate against your own router, network, and chosen service—not universal minimum requirements for cloud play. Check that the tablet and the service you intend to use support the connection you have. A newer Wi-Fi label on the tablet cannot compensate for an unreliable internet connection.
