Do not assume that every cordless handset—or every phone with a 2.5 mm opening—is compatible. AGPTEK uses broad wording about standard 2.5 mm jacks but also narrows its claim: the headset works with Panasonic desk phones and only some 2.5 mm cordless phones. The model list includes Panasonic phones in the KX-TGF, KX-TGE, KX-TG, and KX-TS families.

RJ9 monaural desk-phone headset
AGPTEK also offers a 4-pin RJ9 monaural headset intended for desk phones. Its instructions describe using a supplied RJ9/RJ11 adapter and selecting among eight circuit-line settings; they also caution that some phones may not work. That desk-phone connection is different from a cordless handset’s 2.5 mm jack, so this product is not established as a direct replacement for the 2.5 mm headset.
HA0098 headset telephone
The HA0098 manual describes a telephone with its own dialpad, telephone-network connection, and manual or automatic call answering. It is a standalone telephone product, not evidence of a wireless headset that pairs with an existing cordless phone.
