The browser is Microsoft Edge. On Xbox One, check Home screen > My games & apps > Apps for Microsoft Edge. Microsoft documents that exact route for Xbox Series S and X, however—not as a guaranteed Xbox One menu path—so the app may not appear on every Xbox One console.
How to look for Microsoft Edge
- From the Xbox One Home screen, open My games & apps.
- Open Apps and look for Microsoft Edge.
- If Edge appears, select it to launch the browser. A controller is enough for basic navigation.
This is the route Microsoft gives in its Xbox browser instructions, published March 12, 2024. That walkthrough explicitly covers Xbox Series S and X, so treat it as a place to check on Xbox One, not confirmation that every Xbox One has the app in that location. Microsoft also notes that a USB keyboard and mouse can be used as optional input devices; they are not needed to find Edge.

What Xbox One support documentation confirms
Microsoft’s Family Safety guidance lists Xbox One as a supported platform for its web-filtering features. It describes those features on Xbox devices that have Edge and Family Safety installed. That establishes Edge’s relevance to Xbox One in this context, but does not say that Edge is installed or visible on every console.

If Edge is not listed
The available Microsoft instructions do not establish a current official Xbox One-specific procedure for restoring Edge when it is missing. They also do not verify that searching the Store, restarting the console, or another workaround will bring it back. For help with your particular console, consult current Xbox Support rather than relying on an unverified fix.
