The AirPlay code appears on your Samsung TV when you start a connection that requires one. Enter the code shown on the TV on your iPhone, iPad or Mac; there is no universal code to look up in a menu. Whether a prompt appears depends on the TV’s code settings and whether the device has connected before.
How to find and enter the AirPlay code

Check that your Samsung TV supports AirPlay 2. Support is limited to selected models, so check your TV’s full model code against Samsung’s local support information rather than assuming every Smart TV is compatible. Samsung also says Evolution kits do not add AirPlay 2 or Apple TV functionality. Samsung’s compatibility guidance explains the model limitation.

Enable AirPlay on the TV. Open Settings and look for Apple AirPlay Settings. Depending on the model and software, the path may be Settings > All Settings > Connection > Apple AirPlay Settings or Settings > General > Apple AirPlay Settings. Turn AirPlay on. Menu names and screens vary. See Samsung’s AirPlay setup instructions.

Start AirPlay from your Apple device. On an iPhone or iPad, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, and select your Samsung TV. In a supported photo, video or audio app, you can instead tap its AirPlay control and select the TV. On a Mac, select the TV from an available AirPlay control.

Look at the TV for the code. If a code prompt appears on the television, type that displayed code on the Apple device. The code is generated or shown during the connection; it is not a fixed number to retrieve from the TV’s menus. Samsung’s iOS mirroring instructions also describe entering the on-screen code on the Apple device.
To end an iPhone or iPad mirroring session, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then choose Stop Mirroring.

Why you might not see a code prompt
A code is not necessarily requested on every connection. In the TV’s Apple AirPlay Settings, the Require Code option can be set to request a code the first time a device connects or every time. A previously paired device may therefore reconnect without a new prompt, depending on the selected setting.
The TV’s AirPlay settings also include controls to create a code and reset paired devices. Resetting clears remembered Apple devices; it can help when pairing state is causing trouble, but it does not reveal a missing universal code. Samsung notes that menu placement and labels vary by model and software version.
If the TV does not appear or the connection fails

Confirm compatibility. Check the exact model code on Samsung’s support page for your region. AirPlay is available on selected TVs and monitors, not all Samsung Smart TVs, and model-year availability can differ by market.

Check the network. Make sure the TV and Apple device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Check the TV setting. Verify that AirPlay is enabled in Apple AirPlay Settings.

Update the TV software. If the TV still cannot be found or the connection does not work, Samsung recommends checking for a software update. Instructions can vary with the TV’s model and software.

Try a wired connection if wireless sharing is difficult. Samsung’s UK guidance describes connecting the Apple device to the TV with an HDMI adapter and cable. The adapter is sold separately and must suit the Apple device’s connector and video-output capabilities. This is a separate wired route, not a way to add AirPlay to a TV that does not support it.
AirPlay or wired HDMI?

The HDMI adapter and cable are sold separately, according to Samsung’s UK guidance. A separate Apple TV device may be relevant if you want Apple TV services on an incompatible television, but it is not required to enter an AirPlay code on a compatible Samsung TV.
