Worlds 2026 draw schedule
Riot’s Worlds 2026 Primer identifies four draw moments: the Play-In bracket, the opening Swiss round, the later Swiss rounds, and the Quarterfinals. The Swiss dates below are those listed in the English version of the primer.

What to know about the draw dates
October 10: Play-In bracket
The first draw follows the CBLOL Finals. Riot’s primer states, “The draw will take place following the conclusion of the CBLOL Finals on October 10.” The draw sets the opening bracket for four teams, with one team advancing to Swiss.
October 18: Swiss Round 1
The initial Swiss draw takes place after Play-Ins finish. Worlds has 19 teams, and the Swiss stage uses five rounds. Teams advance to Knockouts after three wins or are eliminated after three losses.

October 23, 24, 26, and 30: Swiss Rounds 2–5
These draws match teams on the same record. A team cannot be drawn against an opponent it has already faced in Swiss. Unlike Round 1, same-region pairings are allowed from Round 2 onward.
October 31: Quarterfinals
The Quarterfinals draw follows the Swiss Stage and applies the record-based arrangement in the schedule table: the two undefeated teams face two of the 3–2 qualifiers, while the remaining four teams fill the other two quarterfinal matchups.

Dates, not confirmed times
The official primer specifies dates and event sequence, not clock times for the draws. Check the official LoL Esports schedule for event scheduling updates.

Worlds 2026 event context
Riot’s March 22, 2026 event update says Worlds runs October 15 through November 14. Play-Ins are scheduled for October 15–18 in Los Angeles; Swiss runs October 23–26 and October 28–31 in Allen, Texas; Knockouts are November 3–8 in Allen; and the final is November 14 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

A note on a date discrepancy
The English and Portuguese versions of Riot’s primer differ on the listed Swiss draw dates. The English version gives October 23, 24, 26, and 30; the Portuguese version also lists October 25. Because the English-language schedule maps Rounds 2–5 to four dates, this article follows that four-date list and does not treat October 25 as a confirmed draw date.
