Use this checklist before you spend

Those figures are the rates stated in that specific Vietnam-region update notice, not a promise about the current rates in every region or version. The notice also said the expected number of chests needed to complete a weapon remained the same after the listed quantity and rate adjustments. That statement does not make the listed rates permanent, nor does it establish the present cost or odds for a chest in your own game. It is also not a universal guarantee that every player will complete a weapon after a fixed number of openings. Check the current in-game terms before spending, and do not use the old percentages to estimate a current Diamond budget without current prices and rules.
The same notice illustrates how event rewards can rotate. For its June–July 2026 summer event, Miracle Chest rewards were replaced with summer-themed rewards, alongside changes to VVIP and VVIP+ shard quantities and rates. It said the chest would return to its normal format from August 1, with listed additions. Those are dated details: they describe the notice’s schedule, not proof that the same event or reward pool is live on October 13, 2026. An event name or chest format appearing in a past notice is a reason to check the current version, not a reason to assume continuity.
Version 4.0 also named M4A1-Azure Dragon in Elite Supplies and Keris-Earl in time-limited supplies. These are examples from that update, not a current shopping list. The notice does not establish that either is available now, that either is priced in Diamonds in every region, or that either is the right first purchase for a given player. The useful lesson is to check both the current stock and the item’s actual payment and duration details, even when you recognize its name from an earlier announcement.

What dated reward announcements can—and cannot—tell you
The official Crossfire: Legends site search excerpt reported a version 2.0 login reward of 1,000 Diamonds in March 2026. It also showed a separate reward schedule for October–December 2025. These announcements demonstrate that events have included Diamond rewards as well as named weapons, but they do not establish a current login reward, a recurring allowance, or a present-day reason to spend on a particular item.

Use older announcements as evidence that offers and rewards can be event-specific, not as a substitute for the current event page. A previously announced weapon may no longer be obtainable; a past Diamond reward does not mean the same number is available again; and a dated reward listing says nothing by itself about the currency required to buy an item now. A reward earned through an event is also not the same as a shop item you can purchase, so distinguish free or event rewards from offers that actually spend your balance.
A practical first-spend decision
If you have a specific item in mind
Find it in the live offer and verify its currency, price, duration, and terms. If it is a guaranteed, permanent reward that matches the mode and weapon type you prefer, it is a defensible first purchase.
