“Dalaran” can mean more than one city in World of Warcraft. The detailed service guide available here covers Northrend Dalaran in Wrath of the Lich King Classic; it is not a universal map for Broken Isles Dalaran or current retail WoW. In the Classic city, players can look for everyday services such as banks, inns, profession trainers, vendors, and a barbershop, with some access depending on faction or character requirements.
Which Dalaran are you looking for?
Northrend Dalaran and Broken Isles Dalaran are separate versions of the city, and their services and directions should not be assumed to match. This guide is specifically about Northrend Dalaran in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The Wowhead Dalaran City Guide, updated September 8, 2022, is a useful directory for that version, but it is an older guide and patch-sensitive details may have changed.

Banking
Dalaran has banking services for storing and retrieving items. Find the bank using the Northrend Classic city guide rather than following directions for a different Dalaran.
Resting at an inn
Inns provide a place to rest and set a character’s home location. The guide includes inn services among the city’s everyday amenities.

Barbershop
A barbershop is listed among the city services, providing a place for character grooming. Its presence in this guide refers to Northrend Dalaran in the Classic context, not to every version of Dalaran.

General vendors and specialized services
The city guide also covers vendors beyond basic supplies, including specialized services. Some vendors or service points have faction or character-access qualifications; the guide’s entry for the specific NPC is more useful than assuming every character can use every location.
Faction districts and access qualifications
Dalaran includes faction-related areas, and faction can affect which vendor or service directions apply. Before heading to a listed NPC, check whether the guide identifies a faction restriction or a profession or character requirement. A location description that works for one character may not describe access for another.

Older city directories can also include patch-sensitive details, such as portal listings. Warcraft Wiki notes that Northrend Dalaran’s services have changed historically. Treat older portal directions as version- and patch-dependent rather than assuming they are available in your current game.
How to use the city guide without mixing versions
- Confirm the game context. Make sure you need Northrend Dalaran in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, not Broken Isles Dalaran or a retail version.
- Choose the task. Look up banking, an inn, profession training or supplies, grooming, or a vendor in the Wowhead Classic city guide.
- Check access notes. Read the entry for faction, profession, or character qualifications before relying on its directions.
- Verify patch-sensitive services in game. If an older entry describes a portal or other changeable feature, confirm it in the build you are playing.
What about Dalaran in current retail WoW?
This guide does not provide a verified service directory for current retail. The official Blizzard material available here discusses other city hubs, not Dalaran’s service layout; for example, Blizzard’s Valdrakken city preview is about Valdrakken and cannot establish where Dalaran’s current services are. Use a guide specific to your retail expansion and version rather than transferring Northrend Classic directions.
