If a mobile game’s pre-registration reward is missing, first check the game’s offer terms and confirm you registered on the eligible store, account, platform, and territory. Then install or update the official release, sign in to the right game account and server, and check the game’s reward screens. Pre-registration does not guarantee the same reward flow across Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
First, confirm what reward was actually promised
“Pre-registration reward” can refer to different offers. On Google Play, a developer may optionally configure a free, one-time in-game product for users who select Pre-register. Examples include an in-game item, special character, or currency pack. The developer must set up the reward and support its delivery in the game; it is not an automatic feature of every pre-registration. See Google Play Console Help.

Apple’s App Store pre-order is different: in-app purchases themselves are not eligible for pre-order. A publisher may separately offer a gift in the game, such as an exclusive item or free currency. Check the publisher’s wording rather than assuming that placing an App Store pre-order automatically grants a particular in-game entitlement. Read the game’s official announcement and terms. Check whether the offer applied to your store, platform, territory, registration dates, account, or server, and whether it required a milestone, installation, or another action. For example, Activision’s Warzone Mobile promotion terms specify territory and account-registration eligibility and tie reward availability to launch and distribution. Those are conditions for that promotion, not universal rules.

Check launch and install the official release
A pre-registration page or announcement does not establish that the production game has launched in your territory. Google Play says registered users are notified after the app is published to production, and eligible devices may have it installed automatically. Those launch notifications and auto-installs are not the reward itself. See Google’s pre-registration guidance and its launch instructions.
- Confirm the game has launched in your region, using the publisher’s official announcement or store listing.
- Install or update the official production release from the store where you registered.
- Open the game and sign in with the game account and server where you expect the reward.
- If you previously installed a test version, mention that if you contact support. Google says users who already have a test version installed will not receive the pre-registration push notification.
Look in the game’s delivery and claim screens
Check the in-game mailbox or inbox, event and rewards screens, and any claim prompt. These are sensible places to inspect, not a platform-guaranteed delivery method: the game’s own instructions determine where a specific reward appears and whether you must claim it.

Contact the game publisher if it is still missing
If the offer terms appear to fit and the reward is not in the game, contact the publisher through its official support channel. Provide enough information to identify the registration and destination account:
- Game title and platform/store used to register
- Player ID, game account, and server or region
- Approximate registration date and the account used
- Any available registration confirmation or relevant receipt
- Which official release you installed and which in-game screens you checked
Do not post your password or one-time verification codes publicly. Because the game is not specified, its support address and any expected wait time cannot be identified here. The reviewed platform guidance also does not establish a universal delivery delay or claim location, so follow the publisher’s instructions for the particular offer.

What the platform guidance means for a missing reward
Google’s developer guidance says that “failure to deliver pre-registration rewards to users may result in suspension of your app from the Play Store.” That describes Google Play’s expectation of developers; it does not prove that a particular account qualified for a specific campaign or identify when that reward should arrive. Eligibility still depends on the game’s offer terms.
