A “lifetime” AI subscription is only as useful as the written promise behind it. Before paying, confirm how long access lasts, which AI features and usage amounts are included, what extra costs can arise, and what happens if the service changes or closes. Save the checkout offer and governing terms with the product name, tier, and purchase date; if a key protection is unclear, ask the seller for written clarification before buying.
1. Find out what “lifetime” means
The word does not necessarily mean access for the buyer’s lifetime, perpetual operation, or ownership of the software. It may refer to access for as long as a particular service operates, or to a license with other limits. Treat each offer as its own contract rather than assuming a standard definition.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
For example, Scriptivox’s terms, last updated September 29, 2026, define lifetime access as lasting while Scriptivox operates the service, explicitly say this is not a promise that the service will run forever, and describe the purchase as a license rather than ownership of the software. Read Scriptivox’s terms. CUE likewise limits its entitlement to the commercial life of the eligible platform. Read CUE’s terms.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →- Does the term mean your lifetime, the product’s commercial life, or the operating life of the specific service?
- Can the company discontinue or materially change the product? Does access carry over after a rename, acquisition, or successor product?
- Are you buying hosted account access, a license to run software locally, source-code access, or something else? These are different rights.
2. Record exactly which AI features and usage are included
Save the offer’s named product tier, features, and limits as they appear on the purchase date. A lifetime core plan does not automatically guarantee lasting access to every model or unlimited AI processing.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. - Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
CUE says permanent or unlimited AI processing and related features are excluded unless expressly guaranteed in the written offer; it also reserves the ability to change, reduce, suspend, or withdraw limited or promotional AI credits. Scriptivox says it may change AI models and providers while protecting particular listed usage allowances. These are examples of vendor-specific terms, not a universal rule. CUE terms; Scriptivox terms.
- Identify included models, provider access, and features such as image, video, or voice generation, agents, integrations, exports, team tools, and beta features.
- Write down any monthly credits, tokens, minutes, storage, file-size or context limits, request caps, rate limits, and fair-use restrictions. Check whether unused allowances expire.
- Check whether a provider or model change can alter capability or consume credits at a different rate, and whether the vendor may change allocations.
- Do not treat “unlimited” as a clear capacity promise unless the fair-use rules and workload restrictions are also stated.
- Check whether future features, add-ons, or successor products are included or sold separately.
3. Identify costs beyond the one-time payment
A single upfront charge does not establish that every part of operating the service will remain free. Check whether the price covers AI inference or API use, hosting, storage, support, integrations, and taxes, and whether extra credits, seats, or features can cost more.

- Compare the offer with a monthly or annual alternative at your realistic usage. Calculate the break-even point without assuming the service or included allowance will remain unchanged indefinitely.
Scriptivox reserves the possibility of charging for unlisted add-ons or features, while Quartzite’s historical terms allowed future upgrades to be sold separately. Neither example establishes that all AI lifetime plans impose usage fees. Scriptivox terms; Quartzite AI terms.
4. Read refund, cancellation, and shutdown provisions separately
A refund window, cancellation right, and remedy if the vendor closes are separate questions. Check the applicable seller and checkout channel, the deadline and process for requesting a refund, whether using the service affects eligibility, and whether closure leads to a refund, replacement, credit, or simply termination. Also note how much notice you receive and how long exports remain available.

| Vendor example | Published term | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Scriptivox | Its terms describe a full refund request within 14 days and at least 60 days’ notice with export access before closure. | The terms say closure does not trigger a refund unless required by law. These are Scriptivox’s stated terms, last updated September 29, 2026. Source. |
| Glooin | Its terms say purchases are non-refundable and provide at least 30 days’ notice and export access before discontinued-service data and access are terminated. | These are Glooin’s terms as accessed in 2026. Source. |
| Browse AI | Its terms say the deal ends if the service is suspended, the company becomes bankrupt, or it ceases operating; the page also references a 60-day no-question refund policy. | Confirm the current offer, purchase channel, and refund eligibility. Source. |
These examples have different terms and are not a market standard or directly comparable legal guarantees. Quartzite’s cited 14-day refund provision applies only to lifetime deals purchased before June 17, 2024, so it should not be read as a promise for a current purchase. Quartzite AI terms.
5. Check your rights to use, keep, and move your work
Duration alone does not tell you who may use the account, what you can export, or whether you can transfer the entitlement. Confirm the license scope and practical dependencies before relying on a service for important work.

- Check the seat count and whether personal, business, client, or agency use is allowed. Look for restrictions on sharing, resale, or transfer.
- Find out what happens to saved prompts, outputs, files, workflows, and API keys after cancellation or shutdown. Check whether export is available in a usable format and for how long.
- Review account requirements, sign-in providers, accepted-use rules, support terms, and any uptime commitment.
- For a self-hosted fallback, verify that code or other usable artifacts are actually included, what license applies, which environments are supported, and who handles migration and operating costs.
Scriptivox’s example describes a personal, non-transferable license with fair-use restrictions and does not guarantee uptime. Quartzite’s historical terms described a self-hosted version after discontinuation but assigned installation, hosting, maintenance, and related costs to the user. Perseon’s terms require a Better Auth account and GitHub sign-in or invitation for private repository access; customers moving from an annual plan must separately cancel that renewal if they no longer want annual billing.
