The Casio F-B100W is a digital watch with basic step tracking, not a full-featured health or GPS sports tracker. It counts steps, shows progress toward a daily goal, and can send step and other life-log data to the CASIO WATCHES app. Casio also describes a button-triggered function that saves the date, time, and a position on an app map.

Steps and daily goals
A built-in accelerometer detects body movement and automatically counts steps. Casio lists a display range of 0 to 999,999 steps. You can set a daily goal from 1,000 to 50,000 steps in increments of 1,000, and the watch displays your progress toward it. These are manufacturer specifications, not a claim about step-count accuracy.

Hourly activity feedback
The watch includes a low-step reminder and a six-level hourly graph covering the previous seven hours. These features provide a simple view of recent movement; Casio does not describe them as a broader activity or health assessment.

Bluetooth linking transfers step counts and other information measured by the watch to the CASIO WATCHES app, where Casio says users can view life-log data. The specifications do not establish app data-retention periods or describe every item included in that life log.

Does the F-B100W track location or GPS routes?
Casio’s “Time & place” function lets you press a button on the watch to record the date, time, and position on a map in the app. That is a button-triggered place record. Casio’s reviewed descriptions do not say that the watch continuously tracks GPS, records routes, or keeps location tracking on in the background.
What does the F-B100W not list as a tracked metric?
Casio’s reviewed specifications do not list heart rate, sleep, calories, distance, or continuous GPS route tracking. The activity sensor measurement they specify is step count. This describes the published feature list; it is not a hands-on test of every app version or a claim about unlisted behavior.

Who is the F-B100W best suited to?
It may suit someone who wants a classic digital watch with a basic step count, goal feedback, and phone-linked life-log data. If your decision depends on heart-rate or sleep tracking, distance measurement, or continuous GPS routes, those capabilities are not listed in the Casio specifications reviewed here.
